Regrettably the situation which started with sanctions against us and the removal of BDM-oriented legislators has grown into a full-scale monarchist coup. The board is currently discussing the developments and how to best deal with them, and will need to reach out to old partners for planning and intel.
At this time, we are considering drastic steps to ensure ALG will never have to exist under an autocratic regime of terror, and we are asking for the Order's input on planning for these difficult times.

You will have to excuse me but unfortunately I am not expert at anything related to corporate politics, especially during a violent, divisive coup. I do not think anything could prepare anyone for this. However, no Great Houses as of yet officially recognized the emperor as sole inheritor of House of Rheinland’s legacy - if I was in your place, I would attempt to leverage this fact with Liberty and Kusari for protection if such can be gained.
The Order still affirms its friendly relations with ALG. As of now, our involvement in Rheinland is limited: operations pertaining to securing release of our prisoners of war by force or otherwise during the initial chaos of civil war are undergoing. We can supply weapons to the northern frontier and assist with evacuation of key personnel to safehouses within Sigma and Omicron systems until there is a more precise plan of action set by your Directorate.
If there is anything precise you seek our assistance with, we are listening.

There may yet be a window to engage the other houses in support of our side, but I have to be realistic about our capacity to do so.
With the Republic of Liberty, we have enjoyed very poor relations indeed and are unlikely to receive any support if the efforts come from us directly, though our mutual allies in the DWR may be in a better position for it.
With the Reformed Empire of Kusari, our chances may be better, as we strongly condemned the war against them. Maintaining trade relations with them would be helpful, but I doubt they would be willing to engage in open support against the Monarchists.
The new states of Gallia are very unlikely to be interested in what is at this point, just a domestic conflict in Rheinland, and the imperialist Bretonians are at best sympathetic to the traitors, and at worst, partly responsible for this coup, as we've heard from some sources.
In the meantime we must strengthen our economic and military relations with outside allies. We are hoping to shift industrial capacity from the endangered Dortmund to Wichter, and we welcome you to visit the station and purchase industrial and shipbuilding services we can supply, as we will need to make up for what estimated to be a hefty loss of revenue. We are likely to be able to offer substantial discounts given the situation.
We would also welcome any intelligence you may have on movements of the Core; though they haven't made any appearance yet, it would be almost too good to be true that the tyrants of the Omicrons wouldn't jump at the opportunity to support another authoritarian regime.
