Miki was sat in the middle of the floor in her quarters on Ainu, they were small with nothing more than a bed, table and a bathroom behind a door. The only significant decoration was a small bonsai tree sat in a pot on the table.
She couldn't understand what had happened. She stared at the datapad infront of her, the various reports coming in from Kyoto. They were supposed to be bombing a Coalition cruiser in Kyushu, when did it change? She escorted the bomb there, it wasn't until they were actually flying that she was told the real destination.
She'd had never questioned the Matriarch's orders and was hardly about to start, but this had shaken her faith. She had friends on Kyoto, she'd flown with the Dragons on multiple occasions and had always thought of them as honorable, perhaps a little misguided in their choice of allies but never worthy of such a response from the Sisterhood.
She sighed, laying on her back and staring at the ceiling. What could she do now? She couldn't leave, but she didn't want to fight the Dragons in such a manner.
The pad beeped again, she proceed to kick it away - obviously not interested in whatever it had to say. She crawled up onto her bed and attempted to get some sleep.
An alert sounded across the station intercom, inbound hostiles. Miki groaned audibly, rushing out of her bed and heading toward the hangar.
