Wallace was sitting in a leather armchair, the symbol of Gallia behind him. Talking to his home nation reminded him of his difficult past, but he remained calm and spoke normally.
My name is Claude Wallace, a member of the Marine Nationale Gauloise and now assigned by the Parisian Assembly to perform ambassadorial duties with yourselves. I'll be taking up my post very soon.
I'm contacting you to address a pressing matter: the Carcassonne. We are aware that the ship and its crew had surrendered towards the end of the war and has been sighted in Liberty space, so we can only assume it is in your custody. The Parisian Assembly are now requesting information on its status and crew. As the war is now over, it is in both our nations' interests to ensure that any ships and nationals return home safely.

To whom it may concern,
. . . . .Let it be known that I am pleased to see the Partisan Assembly of Gallia in a less tense time. War had ripped spirits and family asunder, and I do not wish to see it any more. However, we're not here to exchange pleasantries and meteorological predictions, are we?
. . . . .The Carcassonne, and it's operating crew, were detained after entering open conflict with the Liberty Navy battleship Concord. After severe loss, coupled with low morale and waning supplies, the majority of the onboard members overtook the commanding officers and surrendered the battlegroup to Navy defenders. As per the standards of warfare and battle, all individuals and assets were seized by the victors - the Liberty Navy.
. . . . .Tribunals have been scheduled for all officers and commanding staff who have been indicted of a severe crime against the House of Liberty, including but not limited to espionage, assault of non-combatants, violations of human right, and evasion from Liberty Forces post-surrender. Any enlisted members or non-commissioned officers who were not reported as conducting actions past the standards of conflict have been gathered, treated for wounds and conditions, and have been sent to Gallia some time ago. Those charged, should the charges be confirmed, will remain under the authority of the House of Liberty as criminals of war. The rest will return shortly after the end of the proceedings.
. . . . .As for the Carcassonne, it will remain under the authority of the Liberty Navy, and by extension, the House of Liberty, as a war trophy. Any and all material and data, with exceptions for personal effects and non-military information sent to crew, are property of the Liberty Navy, and will be analyzed. I am sure you can understand the reasons why such actions are taken.

Kazuo, Jason
