Guten tag, officers of the confederate navy!
As you are well aware, events took an unfortunate turn in Cologne, and an important economic link between our houses is in grave danger. Restoring lawful order in the system is one of our current priorities, and we feel that proper coordination with our esteemed Gallic counterparts will smoothen the process.
Political arrangements are in place, and we offer to establish a secure communication channel for intelligence exchange and joint operation planning.
The Red Hessian intrusion is unpleasant, but in dealing with it we hope to build trust and teamwork between our military units for years to come.

Capitaine,
A large holographic image of Vaillant sitting on his command chair appeared. We could see the old Kingdom of Gallia emblem on the back of the chair as it was not facing the screen. Suddenly, the chair turned in a fast move towards the luminous screen showing up a determined Vaillant holding a glass of wine in his right hand.
Bonjour mon Herr. I am the Commandant Vaillant of the Marine Nationale Gauloise. Oui, oui, Cologne is definitely troublesome. There are currently two possibilities that are being analized.
The first one is the less probable of the two, but it appears the politicians are willing to try it anyway. Our major concern as you know is the economic link between our Houses being cut off at the moment. Our priority is to re-establish the trading communications. It is perhaps possible that the Hessians cooperate and let our transports trading with Rheinland.
It is likely that the second possibility becomes the reality though. From this moment, a military campaign will solve the problem. Obviously the Gallic Navy is willling to cooperate with anyone who wants to help us to remove the Hessians out of Cologne.
However, and you have to keep that in mind. Gallia has no interest in your civil war. We are not taking any side in this conflict. Our concern is to ensure the safety of our borders and the economic trade. I hope I have been very clear, Capitaine.
Sincèrement
Vaillant greeted with a gesture of the head while the holographic image was disappearing.
Marine Nationale Gauloise, Commandant Pierre Vaillant.
