Good morning, chaps. Or day? Night? Terribly sorry if this pings you at night, but it is morning here. It's so difficult to synchronize our clocks with all the different planets, especially ones we know so little about! It would be terrific to know the time zone of your capital city so we can avoid gaffes like this in the future.
You chaps and I haven't worked together much, as you can see my primary area of concern is Exeter, but we did work on a certain crucial document, which is why the Bretonian government asked me to speak with you.
This document, the Basilica Treaty, outlined that the Bretonia will work covertly against the Crayter Republic to assist Malta, and in return Malta will recognize Tau-31 and parts of 23 as Bretonian territory. Four standard days ago, Bretonia took Planet Harris back from the Crayter Republic via diplomacy. Crayter got nothing in return, of course. But taking an entire planet from your enemies is not a small event and we in Bretonia believe it is one worthy of at least... a congratulation. I know the Maltese as very intelligent people and I am sure four days are enough for you to notice such an enormous occurrence, but Bretonia is a bit confused by the complete non-existence of any message from your part. We were wondering, are you all in good health? What is the political landscape now like on Malta? I hope you haven't been... err... supplanted like those many before you?

Buenos dias, Governor Hall,
My apologies for not replying to this communique any earlier, but we were all too busy celebrating your quiet and absolutely non-violent reconquest of planet Harris with an equally quiet and non-violent 3 day siesta on Malta. It seems it was too quiet for you to notice it all the way in Om...I mean Exeter. Rest assured we are still as committed to eradicating the Crayterian menace from the Taus.

Ah, miss Valdez! Good Lord, you Maltese always have such fine hairdressers. Crossing all those light years might even be worth it to have one's service. But I think that some friends of yours would dislike that.
Having a siesta about it is fine and dandy, everyone has their own way of celebration, but my country's government was quite surprised by the message they received from a certain Enma Loyola concerning this major mutual triumph, who I have no doubt you know very well. It was so hostile that it could even be interpreted as a declaration of war! And she claimed to speak in the name of, forgive me for quoting the word, the Outcasts! Do you know what this means? If she and that reckless company of customers she calls her guard do harm to a Bretonian citizen, this could potentially destroy everything you and I worked on! It would prompt Bretonia to abandon its plans of slowly and quietly eroding Crayter influence over the Taus, and we'd have to unite with them instead. Against Malta! Unthinkable!
Please, Miss Valdez, can you not do something about this? Mediate perhaps?

Buenos dias, Governor Hall,
I'm afraid I do not personally keep track of all the communiques that donna Enma Loyola sends out. If anything I do feel slight relief that I do not have to do so. Could you perhaps be more exact? Perhaps provide a copy of said communique where Enma Loyola threatened with war? It is very concerning to say the least and would definitely not warrant a 3 day siesta.

Hello, me again, sorry to disturb. I hope I haven't interrupted your siesta, but you still haven't provided me with Maltese time zones. Bretonia's been wondering whether you have finished consulting with Aquila yet, and if not, what phase the operation has reached so far.
