I also recommend, after getting acquainted with everything, you join one of the player factions.
Mostly all of them are all for getting new members, and the experience of Discovery is all the better if you have a group of people you normally play with, although you will meet a lot of people every day.
Also backup in a fight is always welcome hehe.

Good luck with your time on the server, and whether it be a faction allied to us, or against us, it does not matter. What does matter is that we get one more person in the Taus!:D
