After I waited for over a month Freelancer finally dropped on the mat under the door.
Naturally I was once more without words when I installed it and played from start to finish in just over a weekend (maybe a tad more;)).

Brilliant the game is, period.:)

Anyway once finished I figured I went to play online, and so I did, tho to my surprise no GLS... *sigh*
I went to find a mod and came across discovery, I installed it, played Open SP for a day and was hooked, again: period.:)

Hence I could do none other then go and down 4.85b3 and create a character, I did, and here I am.

Amazingly glad to be here too:)

Read the rules; I'll prolly have to peek back once in a while, but I intend not to break them to the best of my knowledge, lot of rules tho:)

Hey man, welcome to the forum and server!
I was just like you the first time I tried the game out, in the long passed year of 2003.:D

I'd recommend reading the rules, and being aware that it's an RP server.
Whether you're new to the concept or not, I can promise you it will be amazing fun once you get the hang of it all.

If you need any help with anything, just ask here, or add swift-cr on skype, I'll be delighted to help another player integrate faster.

Also, I ask you that although the purpose of RP is behaving realistically, the way your character would, it's still desirable to see fair play. You don't have to push it too much, no need to be fanatical about keeping even fights and all that, but still don't outnumber people more than 3:1 or such..

I think that's it, in any case, I wish you the best time possible with us here.

Oh and as a final note, I recommend joining one of the official player factions, most of them will be glad to have you, including mine. *wink wink*

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
