Subject:Concern regarding Planet Miura
Greetings. My name is Dr. Charles Holland. I have recently been promoted to Deputy Director of Corporate Relations, and after looking through our recent files the ones concerning Planet Miura came to my concern.
As the esteemed Dr.Grey noted in his previous attempts at communicating with the Guild, our scientists express concern that the methods you are using are heating the planet too quickly. Also as stated by Dr. Grey we express concern that if continued at the rate you are proceeding, Miura will end up a wasteland similar to Amiens in Gallia. From my further research into your operations on Miura, I have noticed that you have an extensive mining operation there. Perhaps the idea of losing the profits from your operations may stir you into action.
Our scientists estimate that at the rate Miura is heating, your goal of bringing Miura to a comfortable temperature by 850 AS is feasable. We do not doubt your scientists knowledge on this matter. What we fear is that the planet will continue heating exponentially afterwards. Unless something is done to slow down this process Miura could be a barren wasteland unfit for even mining by 875 AS.
Let me make clear that we do not want to take Miura from you. But as experts in our industry we would hate to see any planet go to waste. Therefore I urge you to agree to my superior's wishes on the matter. Please let us send you a team of scientists to help with your operations.
My superior asked you to give us control over the docks, security, and a small isolated area of Isehara Refinery to conduct our operations. It is necessary due to the security of Planetform technology that we operate this way. The docks and part of the station must be in full control of Planetform Inc.
If acceptable we will send a team of employees to inhabit that section of the facility and a team of lawyers to draw out the documents and work out a payment option that the Guild can afford. But this must be done right. I also submit that we be allowed to establish a research base planet-side and a supply chain of our technology so that we can accurately monitor the planet. The disaster that could end up being Amiens 2.0 can be stopped. There is still time.
