Good day, Guildmasters of the IMG.

My name is Addison Reynolds, Secretary to the Crayter Quorum. I trust all is well, all things considered.

Whether or not this news will be of concern to the IMG is up to your own response, but the Crayter Quorum does feel an obligation to notify you of the situation in Tau-31 due to the proximity of Holman Outpost.

Yesterday, the Crayter Military was made aware of the mobilization of a Kusari Naval flotilla into Tau-31. Inquiring to the Naval Forces about this development resulting in what was effectively an ultimatum to surrender Barra to the KNF, or to submit to Kusari occupation. The situation is being attempted diplomatically at the moment, but the belief is that this ultimatum will only lead to further conflict within the Tau systems.

What the IMG elects to do in regards to this development will be left to your administration, as Crayter has felt the resentment in the past from trying to assist the IMG with local issues. In all likelihood, Crayter will be forced out of Barra, leaving the IMG under the guise of the Kusari Empire. We only hope that the IMG can remain neutral as they did during the earlier half of the Gallic war.

Should developments be made where the IMG may seek the Republic's aid, we will be awaiting any such alerts. While Crayter and the IMG may not have the same ties we once had, we still feel comradeship for our old friends.

I wish you could have brought to us news more pleasant than... this. Decade-long aggression of Gallic Monarchy have already costed dearly to everyone caught in their ruthless advance, with it's aftermath shaking other regions with the echoes of war. Knowing the detrimental habits of monarchies acting out of their own ambitions not restricted by common logic - it is safe to assume that another armed conflict is inevitable, despite our fragile hope to resolve this peacefully.

Despite the breakdown of our relations - we are grateful for the warning, your message have wiped my desire to dismiss several reports of Kusarian advance as hallucinations or barely plausible scenario. I will see what can be done about derailing this situation to more peaceful development, but do not set your hopes too high.
Remain realistic - and ever vigilant.
