Fleet admiral,
I would have normally run this to you through the defence minister, but this matter is somewhat informal so I had rather not bother Templer with it.
It is about my replacement as commodore. I may or may not have spoken about this before, I cannot remember, but I am inclined to suggest Captain Pria Y'berg for a promotion and to be assigned a fleet. This is not an attempt to raise a friend to a better position, it is merely that I believe the BAF should be a meritocracy, and Y'berg is, in my opinion, an officer with much merit.
If this is done, you will have the prime minister's gratitude, and I will make sure that a sufficient quantity of alcoholic beverages of your choice is sent to you so that you can properly celebrate the promotion of a new commodore. "Sufficient" is a subjective term, I admit, so I think it will only be right if you define what is sufficient.
