The year 822 A.S. was particularly rough for the Liberty Police, Inc. The loss of San Diego Border Station meant two things. The Gallic Royal Navy was invading California and war was right on the LPIs front lawn. It would not be until 826 A.S. that the Gallic war was finally won and peace was able to be brought back to California. Hesitant to rebuild, San Diego Border Station would sit idle until 827 A.S. where LPI Brass was confident that rebuilding was an option. Universal Shipping, Inc. had built a new shipping platform in Magellan and a new staging point was needed for LPI patrols to refuel and refit. However the board of directors did not want San Diego to fall like before and a project was set in motion to not only rebuild San Diego Border Station but to fortify it as well. This would increase the security of California and Magellan respectively. The other reason was the Insurgency. They already took a crack at Willard Station and to ensure LPI's newest station would not be in danger the board of directors allocated extra funding for fortification purposes. DSE, and USI would play vital roles in delivering supplies to Los Angeles and partaking in its reconstruction. This station for all intents and purposes is not meant for civilian traffic to idle at or dock. Only for emergency purposes will the dock master allow it. This is to ensure LPI has enough breathing room and organization to organize patrols and respond to any threats efficiently and effectively. Additional cargo space was also added for strict use of contraband confiscation. Once filled a police convoy would ship it to Manhattan for further processing.
Primary Goals:
- Staging point for LPI patrols to enter Magellan
- Protect Cordova Shipping Platform
Tertiary Goals:
- Stop Contraband from making it into Liberty at the Border.
-Quell the Lane Hackers, Rogues, Outcasts, and Liberty Insurgency operations in the system
