Apologies for the delay, it seems Liberty has completed a project of great interest and we have been caught up in investigating. We can absolutely abide by your request and inform you prior to any visits to the Inverness system. We have already encountered some Bretonia forces within Vespucci but they were nonetheless easy to turn away. Hearing of their cooperation with Gaians is troublesome, but of little consequence as of right now. Gaian will be spared no mercy when they are found, they have attempted to raid our transports in the past resulting in increased measures against them. Any collaborators found with them will be given the same treatment. Rest assured, they will not escape your forces without encountering ours.
Onto an overdue subject, the two cruisers took slightly longer than anticipated but are nonetheless completed and ready to be transferred to your crews. We've masked and marked these vessels so they can't be told apart from any other regular cruiser that rolls out of Norfolk. Anybody seeing them will mistake them for a Navy patrol or whatever you have in mind. They're available at Marshall and you can pick them up at your convenience, or if need be we can deliver them to a dock of your choosing. They're fit for combat right on launch.
My goodness! You are incredibly efficient workers. Truly remarkable. But I must thank you for reassurance that there will be no gaps. We apologise if the measures to ensure border security for travel seem mildly inconvenient, but we hope you understand the importance of countering subterfuge.
We will have some of our personnel swing by to escort the vessels to the Inverness system.
It has become apparent to us that there is remnants of infected forces licking their wounds in the Alberta system. We have initiated plans to go in and quell the remaining elements. But before we can do that, we must quickly erect an Outpost to allow operations to be more effective and to push our attrition closer. On the bonus side, this may be able to open up another way into Liberty for you, scouts have indicated the Colorado anomaly is still active.
We will absolutely require any firepower we can get to help secure the station and then moving in to sterilze the sector, it is noted a renegade Gallic warship is with the forces. They are not to be underestimated. We believe it to be of importance that we deal with this threat before it heals up and strikes us in the future.
Murmurs from my chain of subordinates has informed me that the Insurgency desires to delegate some vessels to the Inverness sector, that Bretonia has done ill-will to the Insurgent movement. A degree of elaboration would be very much appreciated upon these claims.
On an additional note, we are belaying the movement for Alberta another time, but we very much will be moving in to clean up Inverness and revitalise that wreckage.
I suppose the most ironic part of Bretonian aggression is that we haven't done anything at all to them. We've found the occasional Bretonian dreadnought attempting to breach our space and dispatched it, and when we check to find out just why a Bretonian warship would be near us, lo and behold, their foreign office has us marked as enemies of the state. I can't really point you to a specific example as we've never had direct contact with the Bretonian Government, but we don't take kindly to wandering warships.
I feel the only appropriate response is to make the feeling mutual, make them realize the kind of enemy they've created on their own. I've got warships that are eager to provide assistance against Bretonian forces in light of their diplomatic shortcomings. In retrospect it's most likely for the best, seeing as their house is more or less owned by Liberty now that the war is over and rebuilding is going on.
We'll keep some assets monitoring Alberta for the time being, but if you're willing, we're ready to help clean out Inverness of any unwelcome Bretonians.
Alberta will have to hold off for now, we can only hope they don't magically rebuild themselves while we deal with a more active threat. We will /need/ to entrench in Inverness. Play this fight on our terms. We'll play goose with them. Reinforce it even more. Deploy distractions. Yes, you may wonder, we have already reinforced it over the years, but there is never enough.
That Bretonian spy station will need to be taken out of the picture. We will be preparing teams to capture the installation. Capture of personnel is preferrable, though unfortunately our more automated brethren may not be able to achieve such. No need to aggrovate them more with loss of life. We very much anticipate the station to be rigged.
What matters is that the Cortez blockade remains strong, and that they establish perimeter mines to ensnare any incoming capital reinforcements. Fighter craft are not a concerning matter, apparently being veterans in the Omicrons against some of the Sirius' elites comes rather handy with brawls... I am confident our trained personnel and drones are capable of abusing our high ground with the environment we have here.
On another note, we hope you do not mind, but Federal trade vessels will be transporting through Insurgent space to reach the Technocracy installations for commercial purposes. Likewise to assist them, some of our Kansas detachment will be arriving to Federal space to give technologically surgical strikes.
The Bretonian base in the system will certainly be a boon if we can seize it intact, although I heavily expect they might rig their station to scuttle rather than have it seized. While this is a probable outcome, it's possible they won't as they won't expect to actually lose out of arrogance. We'll deploy a portion of our fleet to help entrench the system while initiating skirmishes against Bretonian shipping and police in Magellan to draw their attention away while we entrench the region. Harmony will provide the distraction while Gladius prepares our end of the defenses and blockade. Once ready we'll bolster the blockade.
Bretonian capitalships will not break through the blockade, and any that do won't be in good condition. On the topic of Federal trade vessels, that is perfectly fine. The Federalists have been generous friends towards us in the past and we'll gladly ensure their safe travel through our space.
I do hope it is lovely. Another storm is on the horizon here on Veracruz, but I find it calming.
Let us hope that they cannot break through. In the event that they do, are you fine with our military assets relocating some of our more ... finer and more exotic materials to Wichita? You may be aware of this, or it may be lost to eternity of paperwork, but we have a present facility upon the Planet. We are preparing contingencies for the best and the worst.
On another note, are you willing to lease a yard spot at Leniex? We require to construct a Mako or two in one slot. Probably one warship. We are willing to compensate in monetary goods for the lease, unless you have something else in mind you desire.
There is another matter I wish to discuss upon in regarding to an unauthorised exchange made by one of our previous Technocrat Officials, which... is quite the administrative embarassment. I would like to talk in person about it at your homeworld, if permitted.
I did find the documentation of your facility on Wichita, and should worse come to worse you are free to locate whatever you need to the facility. If necessary we can provide escort from battle zones aswell. Onto the subject of leasing a dockyard of Leniex, I've spoken with Admiral West and we've agreed that leasing a drydock is acceptable. We've come to the term that the only compensation we'll require is needing to request something similar, should the need arise.
Onto the meeting request, I'm currently on Veracruz running simulations of the blockade, and you're more than welcome to join me to bring up your concerns. I'll inform our flight control to reserve a landing pad for your arrival, so we can discuss in person.
It's been a little bit since we last talked, but we've been rather busy making this rough for the Navy. In the mean time I've come across a report from our latest warship that during use of experimental hyperspace modules, an anomaly caused them to drop into the Inverness system instead of Vespucci. During their vacation of the system to return to their intended destination, they'd spotted a nomad form near the vicinity of Valravn, appearing to take position in it's drydock, although I cannot make the picture out fully. We we're curious of it's presence. Our vessels engaged the alien form and forced it's retreat however our vessels suffered damage in the skirmish. It's become a cause of concern amongst my personnel of the warforms presence however I decided against drawing immediate conclusions. I'll give you access to the report from our database.
On to another matter, as you're aware my injury following our flight from Bering has been giving me significant trouble, and discussed possible options. I believe it may be necessary to request your services in augmenting my spinal cord to prevent a failure in my nervous system. My condition is slowly deteriorating and as such am currently stuck on Veracruz until I can undergo some form of operation. I was curious if I could acquire your services for such a thing, please let me know.
