Research Expedition Report on Baxter-Class Anomaly -- Collapsed Jump Hole Expedition completed by James Weatherly flying the '\S/'CEV-Cyllene
Report was compiled on 10 / 09 / 834AS

This anomaly lies within a Dark Matter Cloud dubbed the "Smoky Hill Nebula" within the Kansas System
Based on outdated navmaps, this Jump Hole previously connected Kansas to Texas. Likely in relative stability prior to the Texas Incident of 500. Hmm...the dark matter radition isn't as high here in Kansas as it is at the Texas epicenter.
Supplementary Observation: The presence of the Dark Matter Cloud is weak relative to more recent storms reports, noting its age. This means the Dark Matter could have 'streamed' through the existing Jump Hole in Texas and bled into this system.
Hypothesis: Provided a slipspace stream of some stability, it may be possible on a small scale to siphon Dark Matter to a secondary location.
Note: This hypothetical siphon will still follow the fundamentals of equilibrium of two energy states. Once the phases are aligned, flow between these two point would cease.
I wonder if it's possible to perform a study and a brand new retrospective on the Texas Incident given the evidence on this 'other' side of the hole in relative safety. Must discuss further...
Research Expedition Report on Hazard -- Hypothesis: Concentrated Dark Matter Expedition completed by James Weatherly flying the '\S/'CEV-Cyllene

Hypothesis: Concentrated Dark Matter
These pockets seem to deteriorate matter and space at the same time. Much like the affects of an event horizon where an object's descent seems to slow to nothing; so too does this field increase the 'resistance' of transitioning through space. Once the horizon is crossed, catastrophic damage is immediate.
These pockets seems to exude traces of Dark Matter into surrounding space
This Asteroid was flung through the Dark Matter Cloud "Smoky Hill Nebula" and as it passed it is theorized these dark matter pockets became 'set'
Hypothesis: This concentration may further explain why the Dark Matter Radiation is less concentrated in Kansas when compared against the Nebula in Texas.
Observational Question: What properties about this asteroid beyond it's moon-like mass, allowed it to 'pull away' this much dark matter?
Potential Answer: As observed in the initial tests of [REDACTED], an incredibly powerful [REDACTED] force was displayed. We should analyze the material makeup of this asteroid to confirm if this provided the fields for Dark Matter to bond with...

1. "The Flare" observed behavior and energetic projection
Initial telemetric analysis, portrayed that the Dark Matter is indeed emanated from the center of the Spatial Anomaly. In this documentation we will dub the Anomaly as “The Flare”, for its flare-like appearance and the level of radiation intensity it emanates.
A safe distance of 5K is at least required to avoid hazardous hardware impairment of the observing equipment. There are unknown ships that attempted to recklessly interact with the anomaly and ended up disabled and most likely, the occupant of the vessels died from exposure.
The samples retrieved presented high concentrations, on an atomic level, of high energy neutron bombardment. As far as regular neutrons go, the variants that were projected from the core of the Flare, carried attached to them several unknown particles that were interconnected by opposing charges. The particles shifted position and charges upon observation inside the spectrophotometer, which led to some interesting theories.
It is quite possible that the “Dark Matter” obtained from the Flare, as grossly put, is a form of matter interlinked at a quantum level. It is safe to conclude that the energy level of these neutrons, because speaking from a charge perspective they are neutrons, are influenced by the ever changing charges and positions in the neutron layer.
It is unknown yet of what these sorts of particles are, but it’s not impossible to presume that their apparent constant source is not only from the Flare. Upon studying the bursts of matter, radiation and the quantum neutrons, there was no change in the balance of its energy levels. The telemetry tools used to analyze the radiation were overwhelmed initially, but when we cleared the data, the waveforms looked like a never ending fractal.
Our theory is that the core of this anomaly has a link to another one or to another spatial dimension, perhaps even to Earhart, from which the radiation the neutrons and the matter come through, thus having a sense why the “Dark Matter” would be projected around.
Given this behavior we can presume the Flare at least, is like a rupture in space-time which leaks the high intensity radiation and the high energy neutrons into our space. This theory though needs more testing by observing more of such anomalies which are in remote places like the one in this system. The particle samples from Earhart at least, are encouraging this theory.

2. Retrieved fragment experimental reports Element K-001
No reaction to the common radiation forms. Instability occurred upon tachyon application and led to the fragment’s break. The rock sample was of low mass regardless and it was an expected behavior.
Element K-002
Slight energy responses upon applying various frequencies of photon bursts upon its surface. The high frequency applied resulted in a permanent glow effect of the rock. It is presumed unsafe for organic exposure and was sealed off.
Element K-003
Applied to a rotational pattern of gamma and alpha radiation, the rock started to have an exponential increase of mass that led to its instability and crumbling, becoming inert.
Element K-004
This one was interesting. We applied a regular low-energy neutron bombardment on one side of the rock fragment. There was an interesting increase of gravimetric energy around it that made the rock levitate for a few minutes. Eventually the rock led to an unstable energy level and broke to pieces.

Elements K-005, K-006
First test of using the rocks we had as sources of quantum neutrons had an interesting result. Upon facing both samples, we applied the necessary electric charges to stimulate their energetic levels to radiate whatever traces of quantum neutrons they had. The rocks began to interact with each other, starting to exchange a peculiar green colored electric charge. They were quick bursts. Upon trying to insert a sensor rod to see what power the charge was off, it instantly vaporized. The rod is constructed to sustain heavy electrical discharges of nebulae-scale levels.
The stimuli were cut off from the rocks to avoid further hazardous side effects.
Elements K-007, K-008, K-009
Upon applying any form of radiation the rock structures became inert and useless.
Element K-010
The last fragment in the catalog was put under an atomic reconfiguring process to see how the quantum neutrons will react to their superposition behavior. The fragment’s mass began to be unstable and diffuse. Without further explanations at the current moment, the fragment vanished. We speculate that it materialized itself in the subspace dimension from where these neutrons come from.
Anomalous Radiation Marks
Final thoughts:
I believe that our initial study is a first step into understanding how these spatial anomalies are remotely related to the Blackout phenomena but we are on the right track. I would insist on further expanding these searches for anomalous formations on the remote parts of the systems in Sirius. As far as I am concerned, I do believe they are indeed connected to a point of nexus and are breaks and cracks into our normal space, that seep exotic matter from a place similar to Earhart. Further studies will be conducted.
