Quote:4.4 - Every char must have only one type of ID equipped and they must play to that ID. Ship and equipment infocards which specify their use on a specific ID or specific ship must only be used on that ID or ship. In all other cases where these restrictions and allowances conflict with the server rules, the ID overrides the rules (except 4.6).
5.7 - 'Baiting' hostile ships into attacking you outside of your Zone of Influence in order to bypass ID restrictions.
Consequences:
Corsairs have a lot of ZOI, a lot, but New York is not in it. There's no rule against being in those systems, but your goal should and must be to get the heck out of there, and not risk any engagement - you're far from home and unsupported outside your ZOI. Some players noticed this and were concerned about it, but stuck around anyway. Not a great idea. Because you lingered and engaged, you've lost some credits.
Please be mindful of the restrictions of your ID. The following ships can consider themselves warned for the same reasons:
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of GM Right #CTE 750AE
As a person responsible for our visit to NY, I must kindly ask to not sanction Corsair indies from the list, including Celeste.
They (including Celeste) just followed crazy bunch that decided to do something bad. We wanted to see what will happen. We were all bad, but only one is to be sanctioned. He was also OF representative for Corsairs. OF must show good example to indies, but this one didn't. He also knew sanctions will be likely, if not inevitable.
Me.
Please.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
EDIT: My credits you can find at Pepe.Bank, I hope I have enough.
If you feel so inclined, I'm not going to stop you from reimbursing other players for sanctions. Of course, if rich players were intentionally removing the punitive aspect of sanctions for repeat offenders, we might look into that; not to say that's the case here.
If you insist on submitting yourself to a fine, you can just jettison some guns, send cash to a [GM] character, donate it to any [Angels] or players who write up tutorials / develop helpful resources / develop the mod or game (and actually want any more credits).
