The Shogunate patrols have identified a spatial rift situated in the northern part of the Izu Planetary Fragment Field. Upon analysis it has been determined that the unstable jump hole leads to a, as of yet, uncharted system. Our current scouts have described a system with a high density of asteroids and, what it seemed, a source of Narchratite.

Nomad forces have been detected near the centre of the system, most likely they are being drawn by the Narchratite. source present in the system.

With the recent flare-up in infected activity and the sudden appearance of this unstable jump hole, we strongly believe that we should increase our presence in Tohoku. We cannot rule out the risk of having nomad ships arrive en masse in Tohoku and blind side our forces.

The Tohoku crisis

For the recent two our patrols report more frequently about the same status in Tohoku, especially not far from the spatial dimensional rift that appeared inside of Izu Planetary fragments.
Our "Osiris"-class battleship Nekhbet was deployed in Tohoku's frontier once we received your message. Battleship was equipped with all needed to maintain long-term mobile surveillance outpost outside of Omicrons and your ships can dock to get emergency repairs. According to the foreign traffic, the Nomads and Kusari renegades might be interested in them, so do anything possible to let them survive in the case of Nomads attack.
