I apologise for the abrupt departure, I had an emergency call, you know, blah blah answer this or else kind of emergency.
I have to make the facts straight 'bout what you said earlier, your no-no targets were Natio and Maltese, correct? Safe to assume you don't like their brothers?
What is it that you and your boss want to do anyway? Are you really just wandering mercenaries? There's no way you lot don't have an angle with that much gear under his belt.
What'd I say, I'm no politician or negotiator! I just find stuff out, and sometimes shoot at it! Let me send this up the chain, Captain will want to see this.
Also for the record, my name is Lenny, Apparition is just the ship's callsign. Can't have everyone knowing who I am and givin' law enforcement more reason to come after me...on account of my warrants, y'know.

Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
Please allow me to apologize for any insults, brash behavior or general annoyance Lenny has caused. He has a certain set of skills that are useful to me and my crew, even if he is a bit of a loose cannon.
Anyway, he has filled me in on the discussion you two had, and while I would have preferred he not divulge everything he did, I guess I'll make the most of it. So what Lenny has said is correct, we are an "independent" crew of mercenaries providing services to those without adequate firepower. The reason for the quotes is regardless of our freedom outside of any existing faction chain of command we have a certain obligation to a few groups who either supply parts, manpower or other assets in the maintenance or operation of my ship. As Lenny said, that does include the Outcasts, as well as a few other groups that need to remain anonymous for the sake of their own political statuses. As a result I will not take any contracts that directly harm any of those groups.
That said, calling us "wandering" mercenaries might be a bit far. While yes we have certain freedoms to operate where we want, practically I can only send the Nightmare to areas with active contracts, be it defensive or offensive. It costs a lot of money to operate a warship, be it manning, repairs and upkeep, etcetera. Probably why only the larger groups operate such ships.
Lastly, my "angle". Well, as Lenny said (and I really wish he hadn't to be honest) I was once a member of the Vagrant Raiders, back in 817A.S. Back then we used our considerable assets to help the various unlawful groups take down quite a few Liberty Navy vessels, before the leadership changed and they went all civilian. Granted times have changed, and the rogues don't melt Outcast warships on sight anymore, but those smaller groups still need heavy firepower support from time to time. Right now I'm just the guy who's got the firepower and willing to hire it out to those who need it.
I hope this sufficiently answers your questions.
Regards,
Billy Xae

Ah, don't you worry, no harm from your partner. It's better that people act like themselves, than something they're not. So you're an independent rodeo, ex Vagrant Raider eh? Knew a one that came from 'em, didn't those Octavium individuals come from them?
Anyway, my peers have been interested in whether you are interested with a little work against Crayter and the Bretonian Crown? How are you with them? 'Cause they're sure as hell gonna be prowling around a lot more.
Correct, the Natio Octavarium is for all intents and purposes is the successor to the Vagrant Raiders.
I have no qualms about turning the Nightmares' guns on Crayter Republic or Bretonian forces. In fact, we have previously engaged (and destroyed) Crayter forces successfully. My Weapons Officer managed to vaporize a Crayter bomber with the Light Mortar emplacement, it was quite spectacular.
However. Given my agreement with the people of Malta, I must state this for the record. I will not assist Auxesian craft (Is that the right short hand term?) in any conflict against Outcasts or their allies. Engaging Bretonian and Crayter forces is mutually beneficial to both groups, but any attempts made by your forces to actively engage Maltese forces will throw a wrench in an otherwise mutually beneficial arrangement.

Completely understandable, given your relationship with Malta. As long as you don't point your guns at us or work against us, I don't think my peers will mind. Speaking of my peers, they are /really/ pissed off about Crayter abducting some of our populace, holy smokes.
I believe you can help us relieve some of their pain, say, how do you feel about trashing a few of their war vessels and maybe a little sabotage? I can throw in a good bundle of money for your trouble.
I think a little chaos could be fun, wouldn't you agree?
Combat assistance is certainly a service we can provide and "sabotage" that you speak of is also on the table, depending on what you have in mind.
Feel free to draw up a contract and I'll read it over and discuss with the crew. Additionally, if said contract can include the following ships that'd be fantastic. The listed ships below work with my crew and me, some on exclusive contracts.
Clearly the organization you work for doesn't share your sentiments.

Consider the wrench thrown. Firing on a Hispania Imperial vessel transiting Coronado in the presence of Apparition... Frankly I wouldn't have cared less if you had fired when none of my guys where around. I made myself clear in this communication, as did Lenny on-scene.
We will not be working with you. I'd rather just watch The Crayter Republic and the Technocracy Of Auxesia trade blows.

Now-now. I never said our kind would turn a blind eye to the Outcasts. Only to you working for them. The opportunity for work will remain. Of course, unless you wish to go against us, then I'm sure you would start minding if we prevented the luxury of using the Junkers facilities.
It is ultimately your choice, but the fact remains that we both hate something in common.
