But it's no small secret that I'm weighed down by more work than I should be reasonably trying to undertake, at least not all at once. This is primarily owed to the fact that one of our flight leaders decided to abandon the cause, and their absence meant I had to pick up the slack.
I can't keep doing this, it's not going to be good for me or the Alliance, so the only option is to cultivate leadership skills among people who have already represented skills of any kind. You're a pilot, and by repute, a good one. Whether you're up to the task or not remains to be seen, but I'll brief you on what needs doing.
If you've paid any attention to the news, you'll already know. But the Zoners of Freeport 14, located in Alberta, are in the process of evacuating their personnel and property from the system. The storm there has only continued to worsen, and I worry that not many of them may make it out on their own. This is where I expect you to come in.
Offer them our help in either evacuating their people or securing their convoys, and oversee any aid they permit us to give them in the system. I want this to be a clean operation, and for as many of them as possible to survive. Kill anyone that tries to get in the way of their survival.
If the Zoners have been reluctant to accept our offer of help, then I'm not going to waste time pretending to be insulted. There's better things for us to do. Let me know if that's the case, if it is, then I'll be reassigning you.
