My name is Marika Hornik, Director of Waste Management for ALG.
We had been hoping to foster a cooperative relationship with your company for cleanup of the Tau debris following the endless successive wars that have plagued the sector, but unfortunately the Gallic Union seems less than cooperative on the matter. It is our hope that given our long-standing partnership, we could assist EFL in the clearing operation and give technical insight, but without the go-ahead from the Union to actually engage in clearing operations, that is obviously not an option.
If you could use your political leverage to make this partnership work, the task may still be tackled with the efficiency and vigor it requires, and we could outfit your vessels and train your crews in a cooperative program.
I'm Véronique Baudelaire, director of operations at EFL S.P.A.
I am aware of ALG's expertise in cleanup operations and we have worked together on many occasions in the past, as well as our very warm relations with your company. Whilst I would like to be able to employ your company in the operation we find ourselves bound entirely by the Treaty of Rishiri. As per article 2c of the treaty, only Gallic Corporations are permitted to conduct salvage operations, we are permitted to allow the salvage to be transported by third party companies following the sorting process but anything beyond that is out of our ability to change.
I know this is not the answer you wanted, but the political clout of EFL has been lessened with the military takeover - We will of course endeavour to push things further in your favour but I wouldn't hold out any particular hope anytime soon.
