RECIPIENT: Gallic Security Bureau SENDER: Principal Alfredo Orsini LOCATION:[REDACTED] ENCRYPTION:A͏B͝S͘OL̷ƯT̀E SUBJECT: Multiple recent threats in Gallia
To whom it may concern, bonjour.
I want to notify you about the growing threat of entities from au-delà of our borders. Two days ago, a Corse squadron detected multiple Order vessels violating our borders and operating illegally inside Gallia. As we were going to escort them out of Gallia, we detected a large Nomad warship. Knowing the priority would be to neutralize the greater threat, the Corse pilots with the MNG and the Order fought valiantly together and destroyed the warship.
While this is a victory, future Nomad incursions inside Gallia might result in severe losses for our Nation, and we have to take measures to protect it at all costs.
Secondly, the Outcasts have always been a recurrent problème. As we vanquished against this Nomad warship, an Outcasts warship appeared. The Order enjoyed this time window and vanished. We managed to destroy it but we need to pay more attention to the Outcasts threat, originating from the Taus.
And finally, today, as I was flying in Gallia, my scanner picked up some weird readings, and it guided me to a Bretonian Intelligence Service (BIS) capital ship. A battlecruiser entered Gallia under the pretense of "carrying envoys" and whatnot. Noticing the obvious lack of Gallic escort (or even Bretonian escort), I tried to question it, but it fired upon me immediately. As I fought, it went to moor on Planet Quillian.
A GSB battlecruiser arrived, and supported me against this threat. I imagine it understood that they had no chance of success, and went back to moor on Planet Quillian.

Principal Orsini,
I am Antonin de Lusignan, Director of the Security Bureau. How nice that your particular organization decided to engage itself in service to the people of Gallia. Sad that it took you a while to realize how many threats we oppose: always been, actually, but in the past, our fleet was more numerous at least.
Perhaps I missed the laws update, but the Order was not banned from Gallia, yet, at least. You pretend they were violating our borders, however, this would be so should they bring something really big into our House, and since I see no evidence attached to your message confirming this statement... Nevertheless, your people showed courage and bravery, fighting the Alien threat that appearing in Gallia more cheeky since our fleet suffered terrible losses. And so are the Outcasts - their forces appear more aggressively within the system of Lorraine but I believe you are already aware, don't you?
And of course Bretonians. It seems their Intelligence Service went completely incompetent if they're landing on our planets. Moreover, the landing operator that let it happen will receive their judgement. There is no excuse for such a lack of professionalism.
But yes, you seem to understand the very crux of the matter: Gallia above all. Her protection and safety of its citizens are important, and so, if you have something particular to offer - speak freely.

Good day,
On behalf of the Unione Corse, I would like to apologise for the delay in this reply, things have been busy with recent events, though that is no excuse.
With regards to the Order Operations within Gallia is it concerning they have had to send forces into our house, though I believe it was justified I believe this will not be the last time they will enter the House of Gallia, and when they do so I hope it is for the same reason as before, and their motives remain the same.
The Outcast threat is ever-increasing, though the Unione Corse attempts to intercept any, and all Outcasts on the borders of Gallia within the Taus, it may come as no surprise that we simply do not have the firepower to stop capital warships. I hope the Gallic Security Bureau and the Gallic Navy will continue their cooperation with the Corse when the Outcasts become bolder and attempt to secure a foothold within Gallic space.
We will continue to monitor the situation within the Taus and cascade any vital information we have to the Bureau.
Let it be known that Gallia and her citizens remain our top priority.

Mademoiselle Anderson,
This is quite amusing that a Libertarian has so much care about the safety of Gallic citizens, especially when it is an 'ex'-agent of LSF. So, Mademoiselle Anderson, perhaps in your House the Order is completely banned as a terroristic organization or whatever lies Liberty Government spread about them, however, Gallia is not Liberty. Things here are different, and hence you have to adapt and become one of the Gauls, even if blood running in your veins is not Gallic. Consider this as a chance to start a new life outside of the corrupted and poisoned Houses of Sirius.
The Outcasts are miserable mutants and anyone who support them is a traitor of humanity - a simple thesis, isn't it? I believe you will agree with me, especially after the fight you have participated in yesterday: yet quite amusing how Maquisards are ready to side with Outcasts only to stand a little bit longer against the superior firepower of the Gallic Fleet. Or you think otherwise?

Director,
It is often the case that in times of war, that the group which suffers the most are citizens, despite which house they reside in. Do not attempt to intimidate me with the information you have gained, I have had far more arrogant and confident men attempt to belittle me. Make no mistake, I was hired by the Corse to do a job, and in my line of work, you do it well, or you die.
Though if we are discussing amusing topics, please explain how the Kingdom thought it was a superfluous idea to begin an almost Sirian-wide war. The relics of war litter the house of Gallia due to your predecessor's arrogance, tell me now Director, do you follow in their footsteps? Or has Gallia suffered enough in your eyes?
Gallia is not Liberty, you're right. Though Gallia has its own problems, must I ask how many royalists remain in Gallia? How many admirals and captains remain hidden amongst your navy which contributed towards the entire obliteration of Leeds? Do not lecture me on my need to adapt. Gallia is a house known for dominance and war, only to fail on both fronts.
My allegiance is to the Corse, and through them, Gallia.
With regards to the Outcasts, they may be "miserable mutants" but they are mutants with an armada of warships, and they're just waiting for Gallia to make a mistake. And I think the entirety of the Corse agree when I say; We won't let that happen.
The Maquis are in their own little world, too blinded by hatred and violence to see the larger picture, to the point they will side with the enemy to ensure your downfall. I think we can both agree that the Maquis are desperate to see this, and because of this, they are simply unable to see the consequences of their allegiances with the Outcasts if this is so the path they take.
Wait until they truly ally with the Outcasts, then see how superior the gallic fleet performs. If you are truly invested in the defence of Gallia, then like or not, we must work together.

Mademoiselle Anderson,
Congratulations. You have made a step in the right direction: you have proven to be your value to Gallia and what's more important - to her citizens, at least for the moment of being. I hold no understanding of the reasons why King Charles decided to declare war on almost entire Sirius, but I have theories. Perhaps once I will share them with you, should you prove your loyalty to the Gallic House.
Gallia had enough of suffering: perhaps you didn't notice but even the Confederacy, who were making steps forward integration into Sirian community, suffered by treacherous attack of the Kusarian Empire, who only recently declared themselves as friends and commercial partners of post-Kingdom Gallia. Hence there must be understanding that is no trust left to Sirians in our House.
The so-called Royalists who have returned to Gallia are not those who were fanatically loyal to the King and his plans. Their number is none of your concern, but should you that care - they are all under careful observation. Maquis are hateful kids betrayed by their elder brethren of the Council: abandoned by all but themselves they are fighting the phantom of the King and his influence while dealing damage to innocent civilians.
And now - make sure you will proceed in the right direction, Mademoiselle Anderson.

Director,
My loyalties lie with the Corse, and that has already been proven. The only thing left to do is for us to begin to trust one another. Something which I feel won't come lightly.
Though I feel "Careful observation" is not good enough and that these royalists should be treated as you would treat any other traitor within your ranks, I will silence my concerns in the hope you have the balls to do what is right.
I think that is enough of our semi-political talks... My superiors have shown interest in the current model of the "Lynx" Very Heavy Fighter. And as we have been in talks, for every other day recently, I have yet again been tasked to initiate negotiations with yourself into the acquisition of such a vessel. I am aware of how protective you are of such technology, with our recent request to hold licenses for Vache's being denied. With that in mind, I know this deal will not be closed with just mere franks.
Here is my first rendition of the terms and conditions the Unione Corse will offer;
Unione Corse will pay for all production costs of assembling the "Lynx Class Fighter".
Unione Corse will pay for all parts required to maintain the vessels which have been shipped to us.
Unione Corse will ship five "Cuirassier Noir Class Fighters" to the Gallic Security Bureau.
Gallic Security Bureau will pay for all production costs of assembling the "Cuirassier Noir Class Fighters".
Gallic Security Bureau will pay for all parts required to maintain the vessels which have been shipped to you.
Gallic Security Bureau will ship five "Lynx Class Fighters" to the Unione Corse.
Each organisation will agree to monthly checks in the presence of each other, to ensure no foul play is being undertaken.
- No weaponry will be exchanged at this time.
This is a simple rendition of my offer. I expect you will reply with ludicrous demands and expectations. Please do so, so I can return the favour.

Mademoiselle Anderson,
Prefer going straight ahead without even offering us to have dinner? Maybe at least a glass of finest Orleanais wine of the year 710? Still not interested? What a pity.
Anyway, I see no profit for us in such an exchange: the Corse has yet to prove their loyalty to the Union and its armed forces before we can have such talks; although your Noir ships rather result of many interesting engineering decisions, they are still not even close to our finest small craft such as Caracal, Serval, Lynx or Cougar. Many skirmishes with criminals in Gallia created these perfect machines, and experience obtained outside of our House sharpened them as the finest knife. Hence, your technologies exchange proposal is denied.

Director Antonin De Lusignan,
Your offer of dinner is a surprising one. I do not possess the knowledge of Gallic etiquette, but in Sirius, it is normally the man to ask the woman out.
Though you may be confident in the field of espionage, personally I feel you may be inexperienced in the whole "Asking someone out to dinner" department, however, I cannot say I have been asked out to dinner by a Gaul before.
If this is so your desire, I would be honoured to sample some of Gallia's luxurious cuisine.
No counter off? No give and take? Hmm, you are becoming difficult to negotiate indeed director. Maybe dinner together is something we'll have to do, might loosen you up a bit.
Either way, time and a place. I'll be there.
Kind Regards,
Capataine Emily Anderson
Unione Corse

Mademoiselle Anderson,
This is another case when Sirius and Gallia have something familiar. I believe you will like the finest Gallic food and wines, especially escargot de Bourgogne. And that was a hint for the place where we shall meet: arrive at Nevers, Burgundy. The meeting location shall be sent to you upon arrival.
