I hope all has been well for you and your people? It has been a while since we have contacted you, but the Directorate wishes to offer our intent for greater collaboration within an official manner of speaking. Large concerns have been raised regarding the movement of the Liberty-allied forces, particularly Bretonia, which have stemmed this aspiration for greater cooperation.
The Technocratic Directorate wishes to formally offer a defensive pact with the Gallic Security Bureau to ensure the survival of our people, to resist the hostile expansionism of Liberty and Bretonia, and to bond cordial ties with the organisations. The implications of such agreements would entail that both of our organisations are bound to the accord of assistance in the time of hostile invasion from foreign Houses.
It is with great belief that future conflict is inevitable with your homeland with the expansionist desires of these 'allied' forces in the future. Defer to the attached reference for the captured imagery regarding the gate site. If these Liberty-aligned nations have full access to Coronado, it would implicate a far darker future for the Tau region as they slowly creep over the regions to establish hard line fortifications and ambush points. Our farseer thinktank intelligence unit has calculated a high probability of the allied Liberty-Bretonian-Crayter initiating a strike against our people to secure their new front against your House.
There is much to discuss regarding our mutual foes, but we wish to express our determination in the development of new defensive technologies and strategies. There is much to benefit from this pact, but there is one major problem within it: The physical path. We have some solutions, all of which that involve hyperspatial technology, but are experimental in nature and are prone to some displacement error, or artificial hyperlane creation leads to another destination entirely... We are adamant of evolving against any threat, and remain entirely confident on our prowess to create technology to suit our needs, we are only limited by manpower and influence.
Nevertheless. Contingencies, plans, and technology may be discussed at another time, but we only ponder for your thoughts upon our offer. Never a single moment of peace these days, hm?

Keeper Revenant,
As Director Lusignan is currently occupied with other matters, I was tasked with assuming control of this communication and providing an answer to your offer.
Pleasantries aside, it is of utmost important to stall the advance of Liberty further into the Tau region. As Bretonia is largely still unable to coordinate large unit movements due to the myriad of issues remaining from the invasion, we believe they are less of a threat than Crayer and Liberty. Nonetheless, they will be dealt swiftly if they attempt to sabotage our mutual cooperation.
Consider your offer accepted, however with several changes. The Bureau will send a medium-sized task force to the Tau-31 system, which can be moved at any time to Inverness, in case of need. Several fighter and bomber wings will operate from the task force and will provide direct assistance to Auxesian forces against Liberty units in the systems of Inverness and Cortez.
To clarify the matter, Bureau ships will openly assist against Liberty forces and corporations, however combat with Bretonian and Crayter forces is, at the current time, out of the question as they seek neutrality with the Gallic Union. Of course, if they do try to interfere, Bureau and forces will change the neutral attitude towards the mentioned factions.
I hope that this message will bring light upon the current situation that the Union is dealing with and hope that your group understands the necessity of careful planning when it comes to such complex operations.
