Sirs. A query and some advice please. There is a pirate who hangs about outside FP1 and fires upon his pray to stop them and to disrupt trade lanes. He is well inside the no fire zone of FP1 therefore is it permissable to return fire and slug it out or just surrender to his demands. Is he infringing any rules and if I return fire am I infringing the rules. Grateful for the clarity.
NFZs are Zoner imposed, let's say that way, rule and not a server rule, You can complain to the FP1 administrator, that is noboy, and nothing more. If is a NFZ base administrated by an official faction, they can do something like the FR5, otherwise ... no server rules can stop that pirate or any pirate to shoot you or any other trader.
NFZ is not enforced by any server rules, it's just a player-made law that is mirrored in game (just another reminder that zoners having any kind of law is oxymoron). Reading the server rules and seeing no mentions of No-Fire Zone would be helpful as well.
p.s. Wew, those 'laws' are really outdated, they're still list Grand Vista as Zoner Station, Ingenuus Research Group as existing faction and totally ignores Velvet's, and then Phoenix administration over Omicron stations. How long they weren't updated?
Bellepheron in some way .. yes!! you are right, and even so depends who breaks the NFZ, some factions even do it on purpose because they are the big ones who want to pick with the litle zonies. also depends who is the victim, a regular Freelancer or even Zoner, they dont care, but one of then .. oooh boy!!
Groshyr how long? well .. FP2 not only still exists but is also a Zoner base, so you can see how long.
