Hello there,
I'm the freelancer you ran into today, the one terrified of that bounty hunter and all. I didn't want to keep asking questions in front of him, so I just figured I'd postpone asking around until a later date.
You probably feel like an outlaw now, but you don't strike me as the kind of person that would be willing to just up and work for other outlaws. Maybe it's because killing isn't what you wanted to do.
All that drama aside, I need help from someone who travels more often than I do. There are a lot of systems and places I haven't been to, I have a significant other who works frequently outside where I live. I may need to eventually look at places to work as well if we end up moving somewhere else permanently. I'll need to know of a few places similar to Kwinana.
If you could depict a few places by region or house, I'd gladly pay you to do so. Coordinates would be nice, you can never be too prepared after all. One condition, this job stays between us. Should be simple enough I think, no drama involved.
If all you need is a list of safe ports at which you can lay low and stay out of trouble, I can help you easily enough. Any particular criteria you're looking for, besides 'like Kwinana'? Or is that prying too much?
As for the bounty hunter, I don't think you need to be too worried about her. She seems like a decent person and is as likely to chat with her targets as she is to shoot them down - at least from what I've seen.

Hello there,
Zoner bases are commonly known, still, if you think some Zoner bases are worth noting I'll take your word for it. But a place like Kwinana has its own set of rules and encourages one crowd more than the other. Bounty hunters can very easily find their way onto Zoner stations, If I were one - that's where I'd start looking for people.
Hope that helps you out, ultimately - it's your choice.
Kwinana Starport Coronado, 4F
You already know this one. The Natio likes to outwardly present itself as a legitimate entity that no longer deals with smugglers and pirates, but spend a few minutes here and you'll know that that's just a front. Imagine Barrier Gate but with fewer sniffers and bounty hunters.
Canberra Star City Tau-44, 2F
Speaking of the Natio, here's their 'capital.' Been a while since I've been there, but I doubt it's changed much. Think Kwinana but bigger. It being their seat of government, they do try to keep things a bit more orderly on Canberra, but you'll still find all kinds of people of questionable reputation on board. Same goes for the marketplace. If you need something that might be considered illegal, you'll probably find it on Canberra. Good stock of ships and equipment, too.
Barrier Gate Station Coronado, 5B
Everyone's at least heard of Barrier Gate. George Tinsley is still running the place - though whether he's doing a good job of it or not is anyone's guess. It's a mess, with all kinds of unpleasant travelers milling about. Sniffers, Rogues, bounty hunters, so on and so forth. Luckily, they all keep each other busy enough that it's fairly easy for a lone freelancer to go completely unnoticed. Equipment and ship markets are among the best in Sirius, if you ask me.
Halifax Freeport Leeds, 6C
If you're not afraid of shearing a few years off your life and enjoy the thrill of potentially getting spaced if you lean against the wrong bulkhead, Halifax is for you. It's held together by prayers and duct tape and located in one of the nastiest smog clouds imaginable, but, because of that, hunters tend to stay away. Don't drink the tap water.
Fontana Freeport California, 2F
A good place to spend some time if you're sick of Libertonian traffic, but calling it a freeport might be a bit of an exaggeration. The place is essentially run by the Xenos. It's also cold as hell.
Planet Gaia Edinburgh, 3D/E
I haven't actually been there myself in a long time, but a few acquaintances of mine have. It's a bit of a mess, with refugees, Gaians, Mollys, and Gaul remnants making up most of the population. Should be easy to get lost in - if that's what you're looking for.
I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for any other 'safe harbors' I might come across. I hear there's a place in Inverness that might be worth checking out. I'll probably have a look soon.
