Considering the expected betrayal of the Crayterian Republic, that ensured us in their friendly intentions less than a quarter ago, in collaboration with the Kusari Empire that has forgotten the Treaty of Rishiri like a golden fish forgets about where it been a moment ago, and attempts of the Kingdom of Bretonia to restore their budget after the devastating actions made by the Royal Navy, we have to be ready for an armed conflict once again. We must be prepared, and the first step is to wipe the very concept of defiance and insurgency out from the territory of our house. You are to initiate the hardware obtained from the Technocrats, use it on Macon and Evreux cells at first. You have one week to accomplish and report directly to me.

Seigneur de Lusignan,
Crayterian betrayal was to be expected. They are nothing more than underdogs in the region and so they dance as their bigger neighbors command. With Kusarians and Bretonians keeping them on short leash, there are hardly any surprises there.
Macon company has passed its comparison trials and there have been no serious side effects observed. GSB is ready to enhance another batch of operatives as soon as we will be able to procure another set of implants from Technocracy.
I have made arrangements with Technocracy on sharing intelligence on possible hostile movements within Tau regions to prevent another surprise attack on Gallia, and prioritized development of our own automated recon ships for such purpose.
Well done, it would be my disappointment if you would have done less. However, this may be not enough. Back in my days as the Director of Security Bureau, we had a project of utilising the adapted alien hardware on our ships, specifically fighters, but as far as I'm informed they didn't make any great progress. Having such technology in our use, combined with the enhancement performed on the Bureau personnel, would give us more chances in outnumbering skirmish, and thus - we need it. Perhaps our Technocratic friends can give us a hand in this endeavour?

Seigneur de Lusignan,
there have been no advances in that particular research and I have not seen it as our priority. Incorporating new kind of equipment to GSB's arsenal could strain our resources while we are still in middle of rebuilding and modernizing since the last war.
Instead, GSB should focus its resources for acquiring number of cloaking devices in order to create stealthy tactical unit, capable of striking at enemy supply lines and infrastructure in order to force them to split their forces while our and MNG's conventional forces will seize the initiative on frontlines.
But our Auxesian allies are useful nevertheless. They have already delivered more than enough cyberware packages to continue equipping more of our enhanced companies within your requested timeframe.
There is a certain seed of truth in your words but yet, cloaking devices is a questionable advantage when it comes to comparison with superior firepower. Hence, I do insist you to order at least one of the cells to work over these technologies. I will understand if you use the last operations of the Second Gallic War as the sample when superior firepower didn't work as intended, however, the very proof of its reliability lies in the system of Zurich right now - the Dax. The pinnacle of Gallic technologies with its superior firepower, and so can be each of our ships, if we focus on developing advanced weaponry, rather than becoming rats, hiding in the shadows and waiting for a moment to strike. It's not only about practical use, but also a philosophy, a symbol of our house, or should I remind you how Sirius feared us, and will fear when we succeed in regaining strength?

Seigneur de Lusignan,
I am very well aware of needs to have the best firepower on the battlefield whenever possible, but such advanced weapons are worthless in the long run if I can equip only a handful of forces at the expense of rest of the army. As marvelous and powerful as Battleship Dax is, there is only one such ship in Gallia and while it scares our enemies away - it's also obvious high value and irreplacable target for them.
But it is true, that if our advanced weapons program will run long enough - our scientists will find their way how to cut some unnecessary corners and make these weapons more affordable for the bulk of GSB forces.
Stealth devices will allow GSB forces to be constant reminder for our foes, that despite frontlines being far away from their homes, there might be hidden gallic ships nearby - waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike at much softer, yet still important targets.
Very well, Director. I hope to see the results of the cloaking device program in no time. However, speaking of advanced weaponry, I hope you did not screw the paint on the Renaissance?

Seigneur de Lusignan,
GNFS Renaissance is as you left it. The vessel is too valuable for GSB as covert mobile base of operations than to be used as tool of war needlessly. Gallants and Triumphs suit our needs of flexible heavy firepower very well and Obstinates are handy as frontline light carriers.
Renaissance is currently used for propaganda, training and R&D - duties which do not strain her systems too much, so she is at full readiness at any given time, while our less valuable assets rotate in repair and maintenance bays as they get damaged and used during their more stressful tasks.

Seigneur de Lusignan,
Macon-based company is ready for deployment. Evreux-based company has been enhanced by Technocracy augmentations, but even with shortened timeframe - they will not be ready for live combat deployment until half of the next month due to the time needed for their full recovery. We would be losing men and women needlessly if we would push them into the service sooner.
Agency managed to acquire cloaking devices and we are in the process of evaluating them before putting them into field trials. While this technology has been tested on gallic ships before with success, there are some concerns about our more powerful sensors and communications, which may or may not interfere with the cloaking device significantly. More tests and measurements are needed before it will be put into an active service.
Do you remember Madame de Lorraine I told you about? Well, our infected friend has ignored my invitation for a peaceful talks about cooperation between us. I would like you to declare hunt on Madame Juliette Pascal de Lorraine as on a traitor of Gallic nation and deserter from its armed forces. If you manage to capture her alive, please, bring her to Macon and send me a message, I have a few words that must be told to her.
Oh, and do you have any progress with the artifact she gave us? Madame told it is some kind of a map, but research division didn't manage to make any progress with it. Perhaps, now they did?
