Lore
Part One: A difficult time.
Rhineland, once a beacon of hope, now finds itself in a state of turmoil. The country, once boasting a robust economy, formidable military capabilities, and amicable relations with neighboring nations, has succumbed to internal divisions, civil unrest, and a recent coup. The once proud federation has been reduced to a mere shadow of its former glory, dubbing itself an "Empire". The civil war has ravaged the land, resulting in unimaginable bloodshed. The Imperials have emerged victorious, seizing control at the highest echelons of power, while branding the federalists as apostates and betrayers of their own homeland. In the aftermath of this fratricidal conflict, those who once fought for the federation have been assimilated into the empire.
Part Two: A stranger among his own.
Since the establishment of the Rhineland Empire and the conclusion of the Civil War, certain specialized services dedicated to the advancement of the federation and its way of life have resumed their operations. MND is one such service that actively supported the federalist system of the Rhineland, diligently obstructing the imperial forces during the civil war. However, upon the empire's triumph, they reluctantly joined its ranks, albeit with some employees within the MND agency still harboring a fervent loyalty to the federation.
These loyal individuals devised a new strategy to overthrow the imperialist regime and reinstate the federation. Approximately 10% of all MND agents began diverting information regarding trade routes to pirates, with the intention of undermining the economic power of the Rhineland, which was still recovering from the aftermath of the civil war. Their aim was to rally the people once again under the banner of the federation. Unfortunately, their efforts were short-lived, as an unidentified agent within the MND leaked information about their collaboration with pirates to the agency's higher management. This act of betrayal prompted the loyal agents to seek refuge with their allies, the Red Hessians, to whom they had divulged information about the trade convoys.
Part Three: A Federation warrior, or a simple pirate?
Those individuals who had previously dedicated themselves to serving their country and had attempted to overthrow the imperialist system for the betterment of their homeland, found themselves transformed into something they could never have imagined. The once honorable warriors of the federation were now exiles within their own nation, standing on the precipice alongside those they had once fought against. In a rather ironic twist, the Hessians were granted the opportunity to join their ranks, becoming a new asset for the revolution's cause. A fresh squadron was established within the pirate ranks, known as the "INCYRES". Their assigned mission, seemingly in a taunting manner, was to intercept the merchant fleets of the Rhineland and plunder their resources. In certain circumstances, they were even tasked with eliminating the convoy altogether. The primary targets for interception were the prominent corporations of "Daumann Heavy Constructions" and "Kruger". Their ultimate objective was to challenge the revolutionary ideals that had taken hold among the citizens of "Rhineland" and restore the federation to its former state.

Known bases
Vogtland Base
Vogtland base, situated in the southern region of Rhineland, serves as the central hub for Red Hessian operations. Enveloped by an extensive cloud of industrial smog, this facility stands as a significant manufacturing center for the production of ships and weaponry. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the movement's inaugural permanent base, commencing operations in 680 A.S., a considerable period prior to the miner uprising that inflicted severe damage upon Daumann twenty years later.
After the civil war , it became one of the main headquarters of The Blood Guards
Wolfsburg Shipyard
The primary shipyard of Red Hessian is situated in close proximity to the Vogtland base amidst a smog-laden environment. Its principal objective revolves around the design and construction of Red Hessian warships, intended to be utilized in forthcoming combat scenarios.
Matthias Schor was born on the Vogtland base of the Dresden system, and had always been a Red Hessian fighter. From a young age, he was driven by a purpose and was determined to fight for the cause of freedom and justice. As he grew older, he saw the failure of the movement to make much progress, which only fueled his passion to do more.
Matthias decided to create his own independent group of Hessian fighters, which he named INCYRES. Working primarily in secret, they soon gained a powerful reputation amongst the Red Hessian forces, becoming a threat to the system they sought to overthrow.
Matthias and his small group of fighters were responsible for countless daring missions, managing to make an ever-growing impact on the war. A masterful strategist, he was always able to outsmart and outmaneuver his opponents. He was brave, never hesitating to throw himself into the fray, and his men would follow him to the end, no matter the cost.
