So..basically we have Sirius as our new home..what now? We have the same situation as the Alliance vs Coalition war back in Sol...so, how far till the next sleeper ship launching to escape a war torn universe?
Where shall we go next? Just pondering the future of the RP storyline is all..
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

I come in with a secret army I'm building up and using advanced Military Tactics utterly dominate the field and ensure peace and safety for another 817 years.
Actually... It's probably going to turn out different then Sol... Not Explosion wise but victory wise.
Bah, I dont like to unofficial storyline - its too easy to cut off Sol from Sirius by destroying it. Perhaps that is why it isnt the official storyline eh?
Lets face it - the Nomads never activated the Dom'Kovash Hypergate system (Trent did in Vanilla, to the detriment of the Nomads), so how did they ever get to Sol in the first place?

For some awkward reason, in Discovery, the Houses are turning against each other for ridiculous reasons, and any sort of "we will never forget" or "won't ever come to a military conflict" or "Boorman treaty" seems to have vanished.
Quote:"I'm not really a student of history, but I understand the Boorman Treaty has been in place since the colonies were founded and the first Libertonians discovered the other settlements. It was one of the first things they agreed on to help avoid the mistakes that drove them from the Earth in the first place."
And in 801AS, suddenly everyone went nuts due to the Nomads...
Quote:We just received reports of Rheinland Military ships operating in this system. I cant believe that's accurate, since it would be a direct violation of the Boorman Treaty. We havent been able to confirm that the reports are true. Anyway, keep your eyes open when youre out there.
I dont trust Liberty anymore. Ive actually heard that they are secretly working with Rheinland to divide us on two fronts, and then come in to bleed us dry of our resources and technology. Its in total disregard of the Boorman Treaty -- that they themselves set up, but thats the way they operate. They stand behind the law as long as it serves their interests. I've even heard theyve been kidnapping some of our best scientists and forcing them to work on some secret project.
This thing with Rheinland is getting worse all of the time. Poor Kusari devils. And now Jacobis sticking her nose deep into it. Im glad we have the good sense to look at all the facts and not pretend to be the bloody universal peacekeepers." I mean really -- the gall, the unmitigated self-importance of Liberty. Sod the Boorman Treaty. Each colonys got to do whats right for them. Thankfully, were steering clear. Thats probably why our people can still get around Rheinland with no problem.
For some awkward reason, they didn't stop with the insanities after the Nomad war ended. Oh wait, they stopped, but then started again because ... uh ... something vague about miners in Taus and few bits of alien research and some news articles? Oh c'mon.
I know it's "cool" to have a war so they can shoot each other ... but we've got enough PvP already, eh?
Hm, Igiss, what do you say, could the houses be BFF again? Right, they never were, but they also weren't so short-sighted to waste lives and resources in pointless wars.
And uh, if not, Sindroms, are you selling Sleeper Ship Tickets? I'd like a few.
