There I was. I woke up in an unfamiliar station named "Bethlehem" with no recollection of who I am or why I was here. I had nothing but the clothes on my back and the keys to a ship in my back pocket. After finding my bearings, I wondered if I should have gotten checked out by medical, but I wasn't sure if I was a wanted man, so I went to find the ship the keys in my pocket belonged to. There it was; a Camara freighter; it looked familiar. I boarded it and set sail for the stars in search of answers.
I found myself in the Inverness system a couple of days later. So far, I had remembered nothing of value. That's when I came across a curious entity; An AI named "Horizon". I talked to it, explained my situation to it, it told me it has come across "lost" souls like mine. It gave me a riddle to follow.
Beyond the barrier in space unseen,
past the stars of blue and green,
within the cloud that hides the light,
trust not your sensors, only your sight.
A quest to somewhere he thought could help me, as it had helped others like me. So, I set off once again. The next day, I found myself in the New York system; the beating heart of Liberty space. A Navy pilot by the name of "Dayvon Bennet" scanned my cargo - not even I fully knew what was in there. He found, to my dismay, Synthetic Marijuana, and so long as I forfeited the contraband, he'd only let me off with a warning, so I did. After pondering on the riddle for a while and getting nowhere, I decided to ask a few locals for directions. Their aliases were "Maxamillion Kress, "A/)-Revenant", "Cipriano Adimari" and "Charlie Jukins". After putting their heads together for a few minutes, they concluded my next stop was the Kansas system. We set off for the Kansas system, soon reaching it through a jump hole in Pennsylvania. There it was; Two stars of blue and green, and a cloud behind them. Charlie turned back and this point, and Max was a little apprehensive, having heard horror stories about pilots that fly into that cloud and never return. We persevered.
