A bit of a sneak peek into what I've been working on. Wasn't going to announce anything till a bit later but seeing same questions and issues popping in from time to time I thought to give a little preview.
I've been working on a new launcher application for a few weeks. Though the initial progress had been good I estimate there is a lot to do yet. It's being made on electronjs (like Discord, Visual Studio Code, Blizzard Launcher and so forth) and the biggest change is going to be installation and patching. In short you won't need disk image or wait for 50+ patches to download and apply. There are still things to sort out like font installation and few other small things I hope that'll be resolved by the time we'll release it.
This looks like a good step forward and any way to make the installation smoother and more user-friendly is a big plus also. Looks amazing, cant wait to see it in action
Ah, looks so cool and good to have settings there.
I'd humbly suggest to add things that we players are often trying to upgrade ourselves, like engine sounds, cursors, lights, textures... I noticed many make anti cheat busy by trying to improve the game experience. Having it all in launcher would save admins lot of silly work.
