This is Captain Jonathan Seabourne of the OS&C liner Breezewood. As you know, we are licensed to carry 25 Gaian Wildlife aboard our vessel for the enjoyment of our passengers.
Recently, a Gain captain, Layla Velasquez, reached out about the conditions my creatures we living in aboard my menagerie. Over the course of our conversation, the possibility of having ten or so Gaians be stationed aboard Breezewood to care for the creatures was raised. Obviously, this is a terrible idea for many reasons, but I wanted to consult with the licensing office about the legality of having them aboard my vessel as passengers in Bretonian space. Gaians are "to be treated with due contempt and reprisal" according to the Bretonian Charter, but Gains themselves are not listed as contraband. If the Breezewood were foolhardy enough to station them on board, would we still be welcomed in Bretonian territory, and if such an arrangement required proper licensing, how much would this cost? Having them aboard would mean one fewer hostile group I'd need to worry about in the Taus.

Jonathan Seabourne
