Alright, as many of you know by now, there is a glitch with the SNAC and Mini Razor, where it sometimes just won't fire. As annoying as it may be, it doesn't happen all too often to cause a major problem.
Now, recently, I purchased a Battleship. One of the first things I mounted was a Battle Razor. When I tried testing it out, the damn thing just wouldn't fire! I had to click about 7 times for it to finally fire. It wasn't a refire rate, energy, or firing arc issue, I can tell you that. Sometimes, it'll go 4-5 times in a row working perfectly, then it'll just stop working.
This is very bad, as there is only a small window of opportunity to razor a fighter/bomber. If it doesn't fire when I need it, I might as well just not even waste time trying to fire it.
Has this happened to anyone else? Or am I crazy?
It's a Rheinland Battleship, if that says anything.

Unless I've misunderstood the issue here, it's probably a refire rate thing. Problem is with low refire guns is that they have a high delay. Taking the SN for an example, they have an 0.17 refire rate, which is a 5.88 second refire delay.
This means that if you fire the SN, then click fire 5 seconds later (not enough), then your gun hasn't fired again, but the timer has been reset. This means you can't fire (even though you have the energy) for another 5.88 seconds, this repeats over and over until at least 5.88 seconds have passed between two attempts to shoot.
Same applies for mini razors and battle razors (with their own respective refire delays)
For the Rheinland battleship, it may be made even worse by slow turret turn rates, meaning you're aiming somewhere, and clicking fire, but your turret hasn't rotated enough to aim the barrel where you're aiming.
The timer resets if you attempt firing before it's done?? O.o
No wonder it always takes forever for me to be able to fire the SNAC! I always try firing before it's done! Sweet.. Now maybe I won't suck in bombers as much..
Like I said... I log on, undock, my turret is facing forward. I click weapon group 3 to select the razor, and it will NOT fire. I click over and over, and about the 5th time, it finally fires.
Same happens on my Lib Carrier's Razor. Pretty annoying, but hopefully I can resist clicking repeatedly.

If you have your guns mounted on some place they can't fire towards the direction you want them to fire they won't fire. Same with SNAC and Minirazor. Try to shoot something with a Mini while your in a Gladiator that is above (or below) you, you won't hit it because yourr Mini can't fire to there (not sure where Mini can be mounted, but i think it was below the cockpit).
