Now, I just noticed... and I don't want to flame or anything...
But the Heavy Fighters. Back in Single Player, they were our best friends. They could take on anything and be decent. Now, it's all between LF and VHF... I don't ever recall seeing a pilot flying an HF.
...Is there any reasons to this? Is the HF class really inferior?
VHF, originally, replaced the weaker HF, with more armour, heavier powerplants, and a bit less turning. The pinnacle HFs of SP, the Eagle, the Titan, and the Sabre, became VHF. Now, we've a slew of HF MKII, such as the Paladin, which fit the open space. They are not forgotten, I wouldn't think.

Eagle, Titan and Sabre ALWAYS were part of the VHF class, remember? <.<
They have been a bit neglected in terms of availability (usability?) in the past I think, but with 4.85 they are entered view once again. I and my Lane Hacker buddies certainly were overjoyed with the arrival of the Bayonet, and such we have not ceased being.
Well, i'm flying 3 (2) HF's. Switchblade, Agama and Blossom. Blossom may say it's VHF, but uhh, it has not much armor more than a VHF. The only thing that adds the V are the two class 10 slots (in my eyes), so yes, 3 HFs.
For me, they are not forgotten, but lovely.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
HFs have been anything but neglected. There have been extensive additions and upgrades for the class more than ever before in this mod, so I'm not sure where you got that idea.
They're piloted a bit less then VHFs since they take a little bit more savvy in flying them, but they still see use.
