COMM-ID: De Luca To: Eliza Valdez Subject: Cardamine business Priority: High
Señora Valdez,
The last time we met in space, probably a year ago, you talked about potential suppliers for our Cardamine business. Now, señora Fiorella Arianna de Marco has recently compiled a report that summarizes all the known and potential groups that may be willing to transport Malta's own lifeblood.
I think you should take a look at it; it is of crucial importance for the Legión and the Maltese as a whole.

Señor De Luca,
The Rogues have always been a volatile bunch. Not the first time they raise arms against us, likely won't be the last either. If Hemlocke wants blood then blood he shall receive. Perhaps once they're taught a lesson they'll act more respectfully towards our forces in Liberty.
This incident and De Marco's report seem to be a good reason for me to have a talk with a certain snake. Gracias for bringing this to my attention.
COMM-ID: De Luca To: Eliza Valdez Subject: The Rogues Priority: High
Señora Valdez,
It would seem that your year-old plan has come into fruition at last, si? I've heard about the Legion's agreement with the Xeno Alliance concerning our cardamine distribution network. Always better to have a choice than nothing thanks to my trusted fellow, Fiorella de Marco.
I hope Hemlocke's gang can lick their own wounds for their gross mistake on their part.

Señor De Luca,
It remains to be seen how the Rogues react to Outcast ships working with the Xenos. It is very likely that if Hemlocke finds out about this little deal of ours with the Xenos, that he would do all in his power to sabotage it in order to remain the only possible intermediary.
It is señora de Marco's name on the agreement and it is her head on the line if this experiment goes south and leads to a crash of the Liberty market. I'll brief Vento and the Liberty wing to respect the non-aggression clause for the time being and we can see where things will go. Hopefully she can handle things on her own well enough.
