I bid a good day to representatives of Zoner communities,
For long time the Sirius Coalition and Zoners existed in peace and mutual respect, and its our utmost interest for this continue to be so. The crisis of Gran Canaria and ignorance of previous leader of the Sirius Coalition led to horrible results - annexation of the planet by the Kingdom of Bretonia. We sincerely sorry for this but words are not enough to show our goodwill and I realise this very well.
I am here to offer you a full-scale military, logistics and political cooperation against the Royal Forces that come to Omega-48 and try to seize an opportunity to capture this world once again and set their tyrannic regime. Would you accept our invite to join the fight against spread of their influence deeper in Omegas, Omega-48 in particular?

Subject: RE: To Zoners of Omega Sector
Salutations Mr. Gajewski,
While I cannot speak for the entirety of all Zoners present in Sirius space and especially not for Dr. Holliday or Mr. Tofferson, I can speak in part to the defense of Planet Gran Canaria and our Omega-48 bases as, at present, we are headquartered in offices on the planets surface and regularly refuel and refit at mooring points in orbit and on the surface.
The Defense Fleet's stance on this subject is that we will maintain our No Fire Zones surrounding Zoner bases, this includes Planet Gran Canaria and all Zoner bases within Omega-48. We will defend our homes if it comes to that. We will not open fire on anyone without them first opening fire on us or violating the No Fire Zones surrounding our homes.
While we do harbor much resentment towards the crown concerning the events surrounding the annexation of Gran Canaria, we also will not pursue any operations against them. If they attempt to take Gran Canaria back under their rule--we will, of course, attempt to resolve those matters diplomatically before resorting to the gun.
We appreciate your offer of support if it comes to that, but the Zoner Defense Fleet will defend our homes if necessary. If you wish to aid us during that time, please understand that it doesn't mean we are allies. The Zoner Defense Fleet is neutral to all parties and will only act in self-defense. I believe you will hear much the same from the other respective Zoner parties.
Sender: Matilda, representative of the Council of Gran Canaria.
Mr. Gajewski, i represente what is left on the Council of Gran Canaria ... at least while it exist, a group of people that never abandoned the planet, and after bretonians left, managed to organize and stabilize the situation here.
Gran Canaria is now going by a catastrophic climate change, soil that was fertile two years ago, is now frozen or it will be next year. Due to this and after the event you mentioned, most of the population already left, and more will do that , so we don't have any means to mount a full scale defence or contribute to any. We tank you your concern but there is nothing we can do it now.
Also this Council will end soon, after the hard work done from this Council to make the situation stable after the bretonian invasion, some zoners decided that they should be the rulers here, so next time you make another communication to here, certanly someone diferent will reply, but let me give you one advise, some of those people have friends ther you and i don't like very much.
First of all, let me be straight with you up front, while I am in no way involved in any official matters concerning Gran Canaria you reached out to Zoners in general and, being the administrator of Freeport 1 I am part of your target audience.
You offer us a full-scale military, logistics and political cooperation. Now while this may sound great I know that good 'shizzle' don't come for 'nizzle'. As in, no good things come without a price. When Gran Canaria got annexed, Zoner friends where spread thin on the ground so your message kinda strikes like lightning. But then again I am not involved in any decision making so I won't waste your time much longer.
As always, Freeport 1 shall be open to the coalition as it will be open to everyone. Should you be on station do feel free to drop by my office for a chat.

Dear representatives,
What happened to Gran Canaria is a tragedy. The jewel of the Omegas, now a stolen, slowly falling world into night and snow. If the Coalition can help you in any way, don't hesitate to ask for it. Perhaps by working together we can prevent the eventual demise of this world.
The unasked question may still be up in the air, but I will give an answer before anyone decides to enquire. Our conflict with the people of Crete will erupt throughout the system, but not in Gran Canaria's orbit or near your other facilities. Unlike Houses, we respect the No-Fire Zone and your desire for peace.
However, it is sad to see that you are not prepared to join hands to defend your independence and ensure peace. Nevertheless, we understand you and we have heard you. May peace and prosperity be with you.

Good Evening, Premier Gajewski,
It is not so much of an issue that we are not prepared to defend our independence as much as it is remembering the past. My history with the Coalition is a good one as Premier Alvin Katz and I were close friends. Even then we had our differences. Did you know that he at one time felt it necessary to cull some Zoners to institute control of stations? We heavily disagreed but still we remained friends. He saved my life and I returned the favor when I successfully removed a nerve staple from him. To my knowledge, I am the only man in Sirius to do that.
To my point. What Zoners remember is being caught in the conflict between the Coalition, Corsairs and Bretonia. Orbital bombardments of the planet often killed many Zoners as well and I have the death records to prove it. All too often we found ourselves the fodder of everyone elses conflicts when all we desired was to be left alone.
Now you say your conflict will not be around Gran Canaria or our facilities. What guarantees would we have? And please, give us some that we have not heard before.
Now I am not a council member of the planet but Canaria Medical is still there. Despite the conditions on the planet, some medical staff remain. It is their interest that I represent. Sometime we can chat in your home. Besides, I need to pick up some of that great Coalition Vodka you all make.
With respect,
Dr. John Henry Holliday
