After massive energy buildup in Omicron Nu during the Artifact battles we have detected strong alien energies eminating a signal in deep space. The same occurrence happened during the battles in Colorado and Kepler. After months of work, we have managed to pinpoint the origin of the signal. Today my mission was to investigate. I picked up a task force of volunteers, and we departed to deep space, all but one equipped with a cloak.
The signal led us through a massive Alien Jump Gate and an unknown seemingly abandoned system. We do not understand where we found ourselves. The result? The mission was a success. We have gotten a sample. It was only myself who made it back with my vessel undamaged, however, carrying the all-important prize we will study for decades.
The officers on this mission will be rewarded, but nobody but ONI and them will ever know for what and why.
URGENT: ONI HEADQUARTERS RELOCATION
Willard Restoration was finished by the Office of Naval Intelligence. With us in command, we have customised parts of the base for Office of Naval Intelligence purposes.
What's more, however, we do not trust in the stability of the Newport Anomaly. The decision has been made, and our headquarters and the bulk of our research will be moving to the newly repaired Willard.
Data from Radfort we need moving:
Data from Alex Connor's Omicron Nu Artifact mission
Derelict Artifact obtained in our recent mission
Rheinland Warship reverse-engineering data
Biodome research data
Baxter anomaly and Alien propulsion research data
This decision was not taken lightly, but we deem it necessary.

The follow-up to our previous mission occurred. Larger ordinances have been used to collect materials from the local war forms. We have succeeded in collecting the following samples:
The issue is, the Jump Drive was deeply unstable, location of the systems was lost - we will not be able to repeat this mission, the opportunity is closed, now it's time to analyze the data and launch long-range probes to try to figure out where we actually were.

Luck has struck the Office of Naval Intelligence. The conventional forces were denied the licence request as we predicted and are forced to abandon their unimaginative dismantling of the captured vessel. Office of Naval Intelligence Project Daedalus may commence. The origins and purpose of this Black Ops experimental vessel fall under the ONI-Omega classification and are under no circumstances to be shared even with Regular First Armada Officers.
Action plan:
Wipe all mentions of the vessel's origins. First Armada Officers are to be told it was dismantled in Bering.
Find a secure location away from the First Armada and Naval Structures, and Liberty House Space where work can commence on the vessel.
Secure technological hauling intermediary to complete the vessel. Final Hauling is to be strictly completed by ONI transports, there will be no Pegasus or regular First Armada forces involvement, no matter how much this might delay completion.
Install experimental Kishiro jump drive technology for experimentation.
Secure docking modules for deployment capability.
Secure ONI Black-Ops teams for undercover missions deep behind enemy lines.
Commence operations, strictly in classified conditions outside of house space.
The vessel is to be used in safe experimentation away from Liberty's infrastructure on nomad materials ONI have managed to capture in the past. With ONI HQ relocation to Willard which is in California, we cannot risk potential disasters caused by experiments on Alien technology - Daedalus will double as a remote research laboratory for the most dangerous experiments. It's one of a kind centrifuge will only aid in this purpose.
Preparation Phase: As a member of the Daedalus crew, I found myself immersed in the meticulous preparations for our upcoming mission. Our first task involved ensuring the ship was adequately supplied for our journey. We carefully loaded months’ worth of rations onto the vessel during our stop at Juneau, emphasizing the need for self-sufficiency in the void of space.
Strategic Intelligence Gathering: At the Radford Research Station, our team engaged in crucial intelligence exchanges. We fine-tuned our plans and strategies, sharing insights and expertise. This collaborative effort sharpened our approach and bolstered our confidence as we neared the pivotal moment of our mission.
Approaching Midway: We have entered Omicron Nu, entering synchronized orbit on the dark side of Planet Midway. The former Insurgency Warships' imposing silhouette against the starlit backdrop marked a significant turning point for us. We knew that this vessel, once a symbol of hostility, was about to undergo a transformation, becoming a potent tool for ONI's covert operations. The experimental centrifuge should allow us to stay here for a very long time.
Retrofitting for Secrecy: We will now shift our focus to the meticulous process of retrofitting the warship into a black ops ONI vessel. Each member of our crew will play a vital role, utilizing our expertise to adapt the ship, making it a bastion of stealth and secrecy. Tirelessly, we will ensure every system is optimized and every inch of the vessel is prepared for the covert missions that lie ahead. Materials will be shipped here by ONI, the work will continue in the secrecy of the dark side of Midway. It is possible a small supply depot will have to be constructed to speed up the operation.

Three long years have passed. The Insurgency is a distant memory, we have more or less forgotten this vessel ever belonged to the symbol of Liberty Navy's fractured wounds. We have remained on the dark side of planet Midway for a solid year, trying to understand the vessel, we ran deep space experiments. Eventually, it was time to return home.
We snuck to Willard itself, and extensive work began on dismantling the Insurgency technology. We have focused on completely replacing the reactors and Insurgency engines, gutting what was left, while what interested us - the experimental centrifuge sections remained, the main reason for keeping the vessel in the first place.
This was a success, you can barely tell the vessel was ever propelled by the reactors constructed in makeshift Vespucci conditions by our enemies all those years ago - the vessel has a very distinct Liberty trail, loaded with the latest experimental technology our Willard engineers and scientists could muster.
Not ready yet
Although the propulsion has been completely replaced with our technology, the vessel is by no means ready yet for its intended purpose - deep space missions and experiments, that may take years at a time without maintenance. For this, we will require massive amounts of armour, radiation shielding and supplies.
We have to recruit external suppliers and will use either California Minor or the Concorde as a proxy, under the front of regular supplies we can then move to Willard to proceed with the work before the first long-distance mission.
Personal Log, Real Name and rank Thomas Filloni, Lieutenant
ONI operative 745,
Project Daedalus Stationed at Willard, I'm part of a dedicated team from the Office of Naval Intelligence, part of Project Daedalus. Our mission: fortify the armour systems to endure the harsh conditions of deep space missions powered by the revolutionary Liberty Power Core. Day in and day out, we dive into data, run tests, and collaborate tirelessly. The stakes are high, and the pressure's on – our success means military intelligence can expand its reach into uncharted space, on previously unfathomable missions.
In these years spent within the depths of Daedalus and Willard, I have become an embodiment of the project itself, a mere whisper in the echoes of these steel corridors. My existence blurs into the machinery, the data, and the ceaseless hum of activity that surrounds me. Outside these walls, I'm nothing, just a fleeting shadow cast in the vastness of space. I've become invisible, a silent observer to the tireless efforts and innovations that unfold daily. The stealthy nature of the project and our uniforms stripped of identifiers in case of capture made me almost forget that I am still a Navy officer. There's a strange comfort in my obscurity as if my purpose is intertwined with the very fabric of this mission. Here, I'm free from the complexities of the outside world, a ghost lost in the pursuit of military explorations, deep space missions and classified projects. For now, this confined existence is all I need—an existence that dances on the edge of reality and myth, leaving others to wonder if I and the project itself or merely a figment of the collective imagination of others who see the ghosts of the Insurgency in this nearly unrecognisable vessel.
Encryption:ONI-OMEGA78-A Origin: The Office of Naval Intelligence Handler 36 Subject:Project Toledo Message bulk:
Following the discovery of the Omicron Minor anomaly several years ago, the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) swiftly initiated a classified operation to survey the system. What we found was immense devastation, the remainder of the Toledo Battle, with vast amounts of wreckage nobody could ever clean up. The ships were damaged beyond repair, scavenged by the Junkers, but enough technology remained behind after the massive conflict for us to work with to begin Project Toledo.
The wrecks have been towed back and analyzed. The case study is fascinating, both Order and Liberty Navy technology started at the same line in 800 A.S.m, but since then, technologies have started branching out, developing, the Order using the technology of the Omicrons to progress theirs. Our scientists have dated the wreckage to circa 819 A.S. - Which meant 19 years of technological branching and progress, progress we attempted to harness.
Our goal was simple, to reverse engineer The Order's technology and create prototypes. We got our hands on the outdated 819 A.S. wreckage of the order craft Codenamed Sekhmet, Hathor, Onuris, Bastet, and Anubis, ONI's teams
diligently dissected and analyzed the technology. Leveraging their findings, we developed our own prototypes, aiming to integrate these advancements into our military arsenal. We essentially created a third branch, integrating Naval technology with what we found, and created several working prototypes to be used under the ONI banner.
These vessels are highly experimental, marrying the advancements The Order made in those 19 years since they left Liberty with our own expertise. Make no mistake, these vessels are of Liberty made through and through. Will they prove more efficient? Only time will tell - we need to stress test them compare the data, and analyze the findings and performance in the field. All in the name of progress, of leaving no stone of technological advantage unturned.
