Subject: Supply Contract
Respected Corporations of Liberty,
My name is Martin Kemp-Smith, Fleet Admiral in command of the Liberty Navy, Forty-Sixth Fleet. We have found ourselves in need of a modest supply contract and in line with budgetary constraints, we must seek appropriate costings for such a supply request. So this will, in part, a request to see whom can provide the best service, at a competitive price.
The materials required are listed below for your convenience and will be undertaken, or delivered in three stages:
This entire supply requirement will be needing to be delivered to Juneau Shipyard in Alaska, as such, you will have to be permitted, per Liberty Law, to access beyond Zone-21.
If a total costing could be provided, I will reply to confirm and we can get the contract duly drawn up and signed off.

Greetings Fleet Admiral, we'll be glad to this contract for you. We're currently strained a bit, a lot of shipments have to be completed. But we could spare few ships for this contract. I've ran over the manifest and I'll have to call back my best pilots for such task. Since we're shipping this to Juneau in Alaska and I want my best men on it.
We can do this in a week time, for a price of 500.000.000 credits.
Looking forward to your reply.

Mister Taylor,
Thank you for your timely response to my initial communication.
I must admit, Mister Taylor, that I was rather surprised having read your reply. Your proposed supply contract charge of five hundred million (500,000,000 S.C) substantially exceeded our projections for the requested materials twofold. Unless some serious negotiation can be arranged to reduce this figure, then it is with regret that I must respectfully decline your offer.
This channel will remain open for negotiations, or for representatives of other reputable corporations that can offer a more competitive figure.

Mister Tarasovich,
Thank you, also, for a timely response to my opening communication.
As you may or may not be aware, Interspace currently are not legally permitted to enter Alaska under any circumstances. With that said, I would be happy to adjust the delivery point to Norfolk Shipyard in the New York system. I am unsure if this would affect the quoted service charge for this supply contract.
At any rate, if you could draw up the appropriate contract with the amended delivery point, I will sign off and clear our Treasury Clerks to release the payment immediately, so deliveries may commence. I will see to it that our own internal Heavy Transport Division will transfer the materials through to Alaska from there.

Esteemed colleague Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith,
My apologies for the misunderstanding - I read the initial communication with the understanding that an exception for the deliveries for the successful Liberty company would be extended for access to this venture. It was my mistake and assumption.
Our fee for completing this contract would now be 260 million credits, given the new delivery point and reduced docking sale prices.
If this delivery price is suitable, we shall begin in short order.
