To who it may concern,
Recently we Junkers have taken up residence within your old station, Gas Miner Trischen now rechristened Madrid Base. So far we have gotten most parts of the station up and running but my best engineers have had trouble figuring out how to turn on the Helium 3 Scrubbers, while at first glance they seemed similar to the Toxic Waste Scrubbers we have used for a few years in Leeds, I suspect there are distinct internal differences which we lack the engineering capabilities to operate effectively. Which led me to an interesting idea, I'd like to open up a partnership with your company.
Anyone with even a cursory knowledge of Sirian History can tell you that Kruger and GMG have been at odds over the Helium deposits within the Sigmas. Unfortunately, the Sigmas are rife with hostile environments from Pirates to GMG's notoriously vicious guarding of its Gas supplies, and even the occasional Das Wilde raid. We Junkers have made a business out of walking a fine line on the fringes of society. Sorting through the wreckage and refuse others abandon and discard. This has forced us into some precarious situations with locals however much like the Zoners we have managed keep a low profile selling what we can to who we can and avoiding trouble as much as possible. Previously, we successfully operated Yanagi Depot here in Sigma 13 curbing the Hogosha Cartel's Smuggling and Criminal actions within the system as well as aiding ALG in the clean up of the 80 Years War graveyards. Now, it seems fate has chosen to give us a new opportunity. I wish to bring the He-3 Scrubbers back online, and start producing some discount H-Fuel out here. I know it likely won't be cheap, but I suspect that the market might be there for it. While I could reach out to the Gas Miners Guild I'd rather not wake up with Torpedoes' baring down on my installation. Instead I figured I'd reach out to the next best well know Gas Miners in all of Sirius: Kruger Minerals.
Here's what I propose:
You help us get the scrubbers back online.
You show us the process to producing H-Fuel so that we may open an, albeit small, competition market against the GMG.
I would also be quite interested in learning how to install the H-Fuel Scrubbers on our Salvage Frigates if that is possible.
In exchange:
Congress will enter a legally binding contract wherein we will supply Kruger with a flat rate H-Fuel market for personal corporate use and/or resale as you see fit.
Congress will ensure safe passage to and from Madrid Base.
Congress will also allow you full access to the Markets of both Madrid Base and Kreuzberg Depot (New Berlin)
None of this proposal is set in stone, I am open to negotiations as you see fit. I do however hope you see the benefits of working with us against GMG. While it may not be the total domination of the Gas Markets your company has dreamt of it does pose a threat to their monopoly which, I think, we can all agree on.
To: Rick Tiltman From: Heinrich Stuhl, Essen Station - New Berlin Subject: Fuel production proposal
Guten tag!
Herr Tiltman, your proposal intrigued us.
As you probably can imagine, and im sure your crew saw first hand, after so long time in Corsairs hand, hardly any of the equipment there from the old days can be useful. While in 825 A.S. we reestructured the base for partial operation, when kusarian forces advanced on Sigmas, its equipment been evacuated, and base turned into a kind of stronghold, whose fate is still a mistery, that make us suspect of sabotage.
The subsequent explosive decompression pretty much destroyed whatever was left of valuable equipment base contained, so our engineers are impressed that your group was even able to seal its hull and give it athmosphere, that show not modest skills and resources.
To the proposal itself, before even considering any bussiness, we would need to send a team to evaluate which equipment survived, which equipment instalation would require to be put in operation again. While without a doubt other sources could provide makeshift equipment similar to ours, and your group have shown great skills to adapt, im afraid such approach wouldnt work with Kruger production process. We have achieved a different process to refine fuel, differing from system Gas Miners Guild use, thus devevolping our own customized equipment.
Adapting engines to H-fuel is a process we mastered long ago, as adapting H-fuel powered engines to other fuels. We dont see any problem in assisting in that if we do achieve a fair deal.
We are open to discuss and negotiate, as always, but keep in mind that Kruger is, before anything, loyal to Rheinland and its military: we wont ever involve our corporation in activities that could go against either.

Mr.Stuhl,
I assure you, I would never ask you to cross the Rheinland Military or Government, I simply approached your corporation as I know you have a storied past in the Sigma Sector and no doubt would have a vested interest undermining the GMG. As is well known Junkers are not exactly loved in Kusari, and while The Guild has been marginally more hospitable to us I suspect it is strictly on the premise of wanting not to drive us out of their customer base.
You are correct, the station has clearly been put through hell either by neglect by various criminal elements, looters, or straight up assaults' as you stated occurred courtesy of Kusari's Naval Forces. As I stated previously we have begun tentative repairs to them I suspect if we tried to power them on they would either completely fry the internals of them or (worse case scenario) blow out the reactor. I'm no scientist but I'd rather not cause a fireball in a massive helium cloud, in space or not. I can send a shuttle to Essen to pick up a delegation of engineers and representatives to survey the station if that is something you would be interested in might be safer for the time being that way.
