The Miyasu Financial Group
The Miyasu Financial Group is a prominent bank holding and financial services company headquartered in Awaji-shima City on the planet Honshū in the Kusari region. Founded by Miyasu Juro just 21 years after the Sakura Coup, the company aimed to provide ample and fair financial services to the neglected people of Honshū. Initially utilizing family funds, the Miyasu Financial Group quickly emerged as a key investor in the region, offering strict but fair loans that contributed to the prosperity of Awaji-shima City and surrounding villages long before Kishiro Technologies became a major employer in 510 A.S.
The selflessness and noble intentions behind this endeavor earned recognition from the Governor of Honshū at the time, who granted the Miyasu family extensive freedoms to expand their financial services across the planet. Capitalizing on these opportunities, Miyasu Juro established 27 outlets in various cities throughout Honshū by 350 A.S. The company remained committed to aiding the people of Kusari and fostering their prosperity, although true wealth for the planet only arrived with the advent of Kishiro Technologies.
Despite this, the Miyasu family received honors for their efforts and was bestowed titles of local nobility on Honshū. Over the following centuries, the Miyasu Financial Group underwent several expansion phases, often aligning with the business ventures of large Keiretsu companies in Kusari's planets, aiming to invest in or provide alternatives to the major Keiretsu banks for the average people of Kusari.
Today, the Miyasu Financial Group operates throughout Kusari, with banking facilities and administrative buildings present on all populated worlds in the region except for Planet Miyazaki. The company remains true to its centuries-old tradition of filling the gaps left by the finance giants of the Keiretsu and Interspace Commerce. Recent advertising campaigns on Planet Kyushu position the Miyasu Financial Group as a "safe and domestic alternative to Liberty's kraken," which has generated some tension between Kusari's politics, industry, and Interspace Commerce. This campaign also suggests a potential shift in direction aimed at displacing Interspace from the private small-to-mid-sized loan sector in Kusari.
