A Hand of Friendship
Greetings, esteemed merchants and owners of this pretty station, a little pearl next to a junkyard that left after the Kusarian Invasion to Gallia. My name is Cristóbal Secada, Captain of the Pilgrim-class Liner "Codicia" and just a friendly folk from Crete that looking forward conducting business with enterprises located in Gallia.
When recently I was passing Languedoc with a load of pristine ice, used by the greatest minds of Gallia to prevent catastrophe on the planet Amiens in Picardy, I noticed that your station's guns were locked on my ship and about to open fire. This put some harm on my soul, after all, I'm but a merchant, just like you but on a different scale. So, I came to conclusion that I might try my luck and strike a deal with you. So, my proposal is next: you allow us, the Deterrence (//DTR-) mooring rights to your station, plus allow use of it as resupply point in case if Gallic stations have no fuel for our ships, and we provide you with pretty thingies you can sell for quite a price among the collectors and just rich people of other Houses - I'm talking of the Xeno Relics and Artefacts, of course. The only difference between latter and former, is that Xeno Relics are being gathered from the space objects, such as remnants of the ancient stations or asteroids, where they used to be built on, while the Artefacts belong to the surface of worlds, once colonised and habitat by the ancient alien race, historians call Doum K'Voash.
So, what will you say? Are you interested in striking such a deal or you are not ready to extend your market yet?

Bonjour Cristóbal Secada,
We understand Gallia's need to keep trade flowing likely has something to do with their tolerance of Corsair ships in their space, but such permission from Gallia does not equate into a warm smile from all you meet in their space.
As traders ourselves, we can appreciate the 'friendly merchant' story, rather quite obviously used as a bridge to show similarities that we can then build upon and usher into an era of prosperity trading together.
However, your flag cannot be ignored. This is an Interspace Commerce base operating in Languedoc. Most crew have been through encounters with your kind throughout Sirius and many know friends that did not survive such encounters. They prepare to open fire not on you personally, but on your faction's ship and what it represents to them.
We as politely as is possible must decline your request and ask you continue to steer clear for the safety of yourself and your crew.
The bad blood between our Corporation and the Corsairs is not put aside for one potential trade deal nor at the merchant level.
Comme on fait son lit, on se couche...
Passez une magnifique journée,

Pity. I will report the inconvenience your station create to our transports passing to the Gallic Authorities, leaving the resolve of this issue to them. Best of luck.
