The Gallic Invasion left Bretonia in the worst shape. Leeds is lost, New London still recovering from bombardement, Police and Armed Forces are understaffed and the economy is crippled. Bretonia is open and vulnerable. The Bretonian Intelligence Service has received new funding directly from the Queen for its operations directly under her authority. But who watches the watchers?
The Overseer Branch, indented to operate independent from the Secret Intelligence Service, was created both to prevent hostile intelligence agencies from threatening Bretonia as well as to monitor the operations of Bretonian intelligence factions.
[Access]
The following groups and individuals have read-only access to the Overseer Network Management Node:
- Overseer Administration
[Goals]
- Primary Goal: Defense of Bretonia from Intel-related threats
While the Police takes care of common criminals and the Armed Forces fight military-level threats, Overseer agents do whatever is necessary to eliminate threats caused by foreign or rogue intel operations.
- Secondary Goal: Preparing, contributing to and increasing Bretonia's defensive capabilities
The arms race will never end, and so Overseer agents will never rest. Acquisition of new technologies and deployment of new defensive assets aim to ensure an adequate protection of Bretonia from threats.
- Tertiary Goal: Gathering intel on other Houses and factions
Overseer agents act both overt and covert for maximum effectiveness. Show presence when necessary, listen from the shadows when possible.
- Quaternary Goal: Ensuring anonymity of Overseer Branch agents if requested
Overseer agents operate anonymously. Only the Overseer administration knows the true names behind the masks, helmets and voice modulators. Overseer agents will only know about each other if it is necessary and based on mutual consent.
[Missions]
Overseer will reward their operatives for their professionalism, loyalty and ambition. To motivate Overseer agents to put their skills to optimal use for the sake of Bretonia, Overseer agents will be able to request specific missions provided by Overseer.
