I got a problem with Yahoo Mail. My notebook went berserk and started shutting down suddenly without reason. This drove me crazy and I reset it to the original Windows 11 state.
This led to the fact that, next to many programs like... discovery (which I will reinstall and reactivate my accounts of course)... also my mail-program Outlook 365 lost all configurations.
I have two Yahoo-mail Accounts I originally managed in Outlook. Yahoo does not like third party applications and thus requires that client-programs use an app-password to access the yahoo accounts.
Originally I had an app-password in yahoo. But since there is no way to view a once-generated app-password (and I did not write it down), I thought I simply can delete the old ones and generate new ones.
I was mistaken. I can't generate ANY app-passwords at all, on both accounts. It just states, that this services is unavailable. Without any further explanations.
So I can't use Outlook, and since I can't generate any app-passwords I can't use Thunderbird or any other mail-client software.
