Angel-09 discovered she had tastes. Her personality has evolved after she has met a group of anarchist. These people were different from the android's view. Even after telling her story, they did not push her away. Then, one day, it was calm on the station where was the anarchist group. Nine decided to leave the station and began to seek her own goals. The first one that came was to have the ship black. The same color as the old Core's ship, Marlin. But also, she wished to have her ship showing no IFF. But the color was the first step and then, the transpondor.
However, the task was not easy as expected. At first, she contacted The Core's shipyard, Alabama. The reply sent by The Core was something she expected a bit... They simply can't because they are not equiped for such 'task'. She then visited other systems than the Omicrons.
After reaching the Kusari's spaces, in Honshu, a Takeda was there. The commander of it greeted Nine and told her that bounty hunter can't operate out of Shikoku but she didn't care about that. She simply asked if there was a company able to paint space ships. According the commander of the Zuiry, the takeda cruiser, he said that Samura were probably able to do that and probably the Hogosha as well. Angel-09 decided to contact Samura first. Unfortunately but not a big surprise, they were unable to do that. There was the Hogosha that Nine did not contact yet. But because Samura Industries can't, it was the last solution within Kusari. If the Hogosha can't, the android will see somewhere else.
With the days that followed since she sent a transmission to the Hogosha, Nine got no response from them. The only ones who could possibly do the job would be the junkers. The only thing that she knows is that sometimes, junkers are known to do legal and illegal stuff. But in the other hand, Nine does not really trust them. As long as she does not reveal her nature, she would be fine. That's what she thinks.

The next day, after she has bossted the signal of her transmission to the Hogosha, she received an answer. The person who sent the message explained that at Yokohama shipyard, they can respray ships and accessible to anyone. But this answer confused the android. The samura explained they couldn't do that and the hogosha said otherwise.
With no doubt, Nine was sure about one thing. None of them can do the job. She will look for someone else. Maybe it was time to make a first contact with the junkers. Maybe they can also play with the transpondor and remove the IFF of the ship. However, Nine thinks back to an acquaintance. She still have no news from the person for a long time. Before to request any change on the transpondor, Nine needs to make sure if the person is still around. Because before today, Nine had a deal but the deal is still not complete. The person had a contact able to erase the IFF but after the android has sent the payment to the acquaintance, she received no updates.
Several weeks after she sent her first comm to the junkers, from a certain group, they told her that the Junker Congress will be able to remove the IFF from all scanners. In this way, Nine will be free to go where she wants whenever she wants. With no waste of time, Nine contacted the Junker Congress.

It took nine days before an answer was received. Nine and the junker kept contact for two days. What the junker did was a bit lame to the eyes of the android. He simply told her how to remove the IFF transponder by herself.
However, instead to follow his instruction, she simply destroyed the transponder making it inoperant. Like this, Nine was sure that the IFF of the ship would never show again.
A week after, still being somewhere on planet Hamburg, the android decided to contact the Orbital Spa and Cruise. The reason was simple. Before she contacted the junkers to solve the IFF problem, Nina met a military named Traudel Habermeyer. According to this person, the said company, Orbital Spa and Cruise, had a paint job service. That meeting was helpful because after many tries with no success, this last tentative will probably be the last and successful or a fail.
The answer did not take long before reaching Nine. The person with whom she has been in contact was a certain Orzel Faststar and he answered positively to what she asked. The man told her to come to Curacao and seek for the "Lux'n'shiny" service shop. Of course, after she pays the service’s price of 11.005.000 Sirius credit. After the payment made, five days later, Orzel Faststar said the following sentence: ''By the time it took me to reply, Lux'n'shiny is supposed to finish painting your ship in any minute now, so you can take it for sure after 15:00 CLT (Curacao local time).''
