Greetings Agent Robinson,

Thanks for reaching out sir, and for thinking of me as someone worth calling for this sort of thing. It's crazy to think about it, over three years have passed since Leeds. Back then, the war felt like it had been going on forever, and may never end. Here we are now, with it years behind us. For a short time I rejoined the service but things did go near null for a time so I took my leave and began my own operation in the Taus.

Sadly the end of the war came from a massive burnout and not really the result of resolutions between parties. It's left the Taus and northern Bretonia in shambles for the most part. The disaster at Gaia earlier this year proved that. But its been a long time, too long at this point for me to go back to the spy business, short some massive attack on the Kingdom itself. Please extend my sincerest thanks to your command regarding their offer. Yet only recently I just launched my own small Freelancer company TAU ENTERPRISES, as a potential mercenary escort service and supply contractor. Perhaps we can still help each other out.

With hope of eventually building a modestly sized company, I offer us as a potential military/intelligence contractor. When it comes to the spying and all that, I'd be leaving that to your people. But, we can help out in other ways. For instance, I can offer use of a jump ship with docking bays, or stealth, or hyperspace coordinates scanner. that can help extend your reach and abilities. We could help provide additional security and supply where contracted, and otherwise do as our slogan says... augment your existing forces. That offer stands for both the intelligence service and the Armed Forces. But I may draw the line on actively committing espionage for the Kingdom in the interest of maintaining our legal status. I can always pass on useful information if anything important crosses our paths.

If that sounds agreeable perhaps we can work out some kind of an official agreement for corporate service terms. If so, in that case you can still count on me working in the interests of the Kingdom, and I'll assist wherever I can, including passing on intelligence.

Mr. Hudson:

While I am obviously disappointed, I do understand your position and your reasons. I personally never thought I would return myself but I felt that I had to. The life we've chosen is never easy and it makes you give up more than anyone that's never lived it can ever understand. You got out clean and have been able to make a life for yourself after the Service. Not many people can say that and I am truly happy for you. Regardless of what happens going forward between the SIS and TRU in terms of any potential relationship, I wish you nothing but success both personally and professionally.

Speaking solely for myself at this point, I do believe that there may be ways you and your firm may be able to help us. Any ultimate decisions on engaging your firm and its services would obviously have to be reached in consultation with Director Steiner. However, I would be interested in meeting with you to further discuss your firm's assets and capabilities, and what it may have to offer us so that I may report back to him and make my recommendation

Thanks indeed for the well wishes, I bid you the same in your own endeavors. Just don't let them squeeze you too dry, between you and me, when considering questionable decisions. In the end the only one you can really trust is yourself! With what we know in this day and age about the capabilities of subversive alien influence, actions always speak louder than words.

Having said that, it's evident to me Bretonia will be in need of additional security services in the north for the indefinite future. With the removal of the Privateers from service, I believe we can take advantage of having flushed ourselves of the more 'swashbuckling' pirate types to move towards a more clean and tidy approach. TAU ENTERPRISES can fill that void. If you can get your director to sign off on that, and sell the notion to the Admiralty Board, I'll register my company with the Bretonia Bounty Board to start off.

In the meantime, I'll leave a link to our public channel where you can enter as a civilian, and I can bump you up to a more secure channel for private discussions. If you ping me there, I should be able to meet you within just a couple of hours, preferably at a remote location, but we can discuss that later. For now I'm not far from the norther border worlds and will be watching the comms.
