Hope this ain't a bad time to break radio silence, but truth be told, we've got a bit of a situation on our hands, or to be more specific, Revenant has one that might blow back on us.
I'll start by letting you know she filled me in on who Caliban is, and well, colour me fucking shocked. Didn't expect an idiot like him to be the cause of so many problems, and speaking of said problems, he's looking for you, determined to speak about something, said his life might just depend on it.
I neglected to tell him that he was more likely to get an express ticket to the grave then a solution 'cause I was working an angle on him at the time. Turns out he's desperate enough to speak to you that he's willing to cough up thirty mil', half of it up front.
Now I know what you're thinking, where's the problem you pill popping prick? Well first is he seems to be on De Marco's payroll and she's been poking around Alcatraz lately, asking questions and things like that, and second is that Rev wants to kidnap the little bastard 'cause he's been getting real loosed lipped lately, spilling all sorts of secrets. Oh and she's insisting the permanent solution to that problem won't work, she needs him in one piece apparently.
But yeah, look I've made my fifteen from this already, you want to murder the prick well, do me a favour and make sure he sends the second half of my payment first yeah? And uh, you can deal with Rev after the fact.
If not, uh, well, Rev thinks it's a trap 'cause you're close with her, but knowing you that makes you more likely to walk right into just to take him out, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious what has him so desperate but, end of the day, knowing how it is for you when it comes to Rev, well figured you were better off being brought into the loop at the very least.
"His life depended on me once, It's odd that it's happened twice. If what he says is to be believed. Knowing his rhetoric toward the Xenos and the Order, It's amusing he's working for De Marco, but not surprising. I find him incapable of speaking even a shred of truth at this point in his life, having no principles to speak of. For this I will rely on you."
"Did he truly seem desperate? Like an addict trying to get their fix. Or someone who had a debt to pay, and never did. Money means very little in the way of convincing me this is worth my time."

With everything Rev told me? The only certainty I have is that little fuck is holding back. I can definitely tell you it isn't a debt that needs repaying he's concerned about.
Normally I'd assume the man would be smart enough to know what you'd do to him if you ever saw him again. But on the other hand he managed to let slip that he was on De Marco's payroll and Rev even said that he was making dumb mistakes. I know he's Cardamine dependent, but even in that case I don't think he'd risk going straight to you, certainly has the funds to keep himself alive if this was just panic over De Marco cutting him off directly.
Me and Rev's working theories after thinking this through for most of last night left us with either, he's being blackmailed by De Marco or he wants to use you to get to Rev. I'll admit I'm sceptical towards the latter due to the fact he had a perfectly good opening to take a shot at her at the time.
So, call me paranoid, but with De Marco sticking their head in around Alc', the fact she didn't say anything when Caliban asked where you were, and the fact he's on her payroll, my gut says this idiot is desperate, but more desperate of the ask a known killer to meet in a stupid attempt to trap him type as opposed to the desperate for forgiveness and begging for help kind.
A lot of effort for that little bitch from Hudson, bet you wish you let me jack this idiot and take his ship now, eh? Too bad killing him ain't an option anymore.

Yo, just spoke with our dear liaison with the Zoner militia's outside 'Hattan, she was on that idiot who shares her surnames ship, figured you'd like to know considering just how much patience you invested with her back then.
"Our wayward revolutionary returns, if she's of the mind to fall victim of manipulations by yet another fool she seems to trust, that isn't my concern, not anymore. If she can't see the same failings in that boy that she saw in the Technocrats, she's fashioned herself a lamb to the slaughter like the rest of them."
"A pity, after all she likely went through on the surface of Erie."
"Though perhaps there is a reason for this we have yet to know. I do find myself perhaps at least, slightly satisfied that she survived that vile state of affairs. Her people lent her little in the way of tangible support."
