I once again come before you with my humble request, for moral's sake, not monetary. This went unanswered previously.
Too long has the secret slave trade been kept quiet and ignored or even encouraged by 'lawful' upholders. I know much of it, I was involved in it. However, after meeting hundreds of slaves during that time, I regret doing so and want to somewhat attone for my ways. I want to help as many of those being exploited as possible.
Many Slaves have been institutionalised, they should be gradually helped back to a normally functioning life. Turning them over to the police to be set free, in my opinion is unhealthy for their wellbeing. We have set up several intensive Rehabilitation Facilities for this purpose.
I therefore request our ships be licensed to transport slaves, the journey is long and difficult as it is, with little monetary gain, without the law threatening us. Our passengers are cared for medically and emotionally assessed during this time to ensure they require the correct actions personally customised for their individual needs.
I know that certain vessels have been licensed to carry artifacts in the past, exceptions to the law are available. I modestly request an exception, to free the exploited and abused. I ask for a license to transport slaves. If you would like any amendments, further details or changes to the above please request them, I am willing to make any alterations, as long as they are for the benefit of our passengers.
The laws are in place to uphold morals and maintain order, our intentions are truly moral, and by removing slaves from this trade we are surely increasing the order in your prosperous nation. C.Lameos Sir Coriko Lameos, Zoners Abolishing Slavery

Greetings Mr. Lameos,
We understand your feeling for the horrible ways of Slavery, but to honest sir how would we know you are not transporting slaves to other people who say they take care of them only to send them back to criminals. We may accept your proposal sir but we need to know what you intend ultimately in carrying the Slaves. Now I am not a member of High Command but I will relay this message to High Command, they shall give you their answer soon.
Take care,
Commander Backus

Good Morning Anthony,
On behalf of Coriko Lameos I assure you that all of our Slaves are given a brief tour of the Core of Sirius, the New York system that is, afterwards they are taken to Corfu, Omicron Theta, as opposed to our older Base of Operations in Omega 49, where various highly trained agents sympathetic to the ZAS cause help to give them medical care, therapeutic counseling, as well as the life skills they need to turn them into functioning, happy members of society. Many of these rehabilitation methods are started on our re-outfitted Prisoner Liners designed specifically for our tasks. Various slaves that have gone through this process have come out and gone on to lead great lives, many are now small business owners, and even more work for large corporations as pilots and as shipyard workers. We trust that the Liberty Forces will understand our cause, and allow us to continue our work in relative safety.
Thanks, Joseph Reisner
It seems that once again an answer to our request has been avoided. Why can you not provide a clear answer to this pressing matter? It is a problem the Bretonian government seems to lack, their response was more rapidly forthcoming, perhaps this is because of higher moral standards.
Libertonians, I am losing faith in your legal system, I was initially of the belief you were opposed to slavery, however, perhaps your choice to not respond gives a clearer indication of your true desires.
If it's a matter of trust perhaps you'd like to ask the workers who've gone through the rehabilitation process? There are many throughout Sirius, ask around, they can be found quite easily on IMG bases, Bretonian bases (as this was the nearest house to our previous rehabilitation centre) or Freeports. Several have returned to Liberty, I'm sure you would already know their locations.
Your avoidance of such a pressing matter has gone on too long, lives are needlessly being wasted. C.Lameos Sir Coriko Lameos, Zoners Abolishing Slavery

Greetings Mr. Lameos,
Sorry for the delay, but you need to have patience. The LPI is already working on the slavery issue so we do care about it. Our High Command is really held back and busy right now. We will get back to you as soon as possible but we need to ask you to calm down sir. Just wait a little bit, continue to do what you do and we will get back to you.
Captain Backus

Good evening Mr Lameos.
Your concern for those less than fortunate is genuinely touching. Your work is something I support wholeheartedly.
As I'm sure you are aware, both the Navy and the LPI have done considerable work in combatting the greed of those with less than worthy moral values. Slavers, drug runners, theives and dissidants alike. We have many programs and rehabilitation centers for those who have become the victim of such crimes on all of our populated planets and the largest of bases in Liberty.
However due to legislation recently brought in by congress we do (understandably) have to run a few background checks on your group.
Your request is being discussed by many very influential people at this time and will be dealt with shortly.
We are bound by oath to look after the interests of Liberty citizens, and the prospect of handing people in need over a group we only have limited contact with is something we need to consider very carefully.
In order to ensure that the best treatment possibly is given to those who become the victim of human-trafficing we will be looking into the background of your group.
Gentlemen thankyou for responding on this frequency, however, this is by no means a new request, this has been skirted around since the date 220908 (//22nd September 2008//). Our Initial Request
Since then countless other licenses have been granted, despite being assured that our request was at highest priority, shortly after our initial transmission.
Furthermore, may I point you towards the fact that Bretonia has agreed to license us, and has tracked and escorted our shipments several times. Also, the Libertonian Navy has given us temporary license in the past:
How can we 'keep doing what we are doing' when our charity's actions are against the law? What more can we do to gain your trust? We have not only been given license by your personnel in the past but have also assisted your forces in Search and Rescue operations many times.
As to your point that the "The LPI is already working on the slavery issue" I would suggest that be reviewed by an independant human rights assessor. I have heard of several members within the organisation prepared to encourage this atrocity or even involved in it for a 'quick-cred'. We are currently in the process of gaining evidence to single out these perpetrators. We are of the belief that this is a matter of individual immorality, rather than the corporation as a whole.
Forgive us for being passionate, we understand and appreciate that there are other pressing matters to attend to, but this is affecting our operations, and innocent peoples' lives.
We eagerly await your decision.
