Message Received Recipient: Order Primary Fleet Sender: Captain Henrik Kocsis Subject: Change of course

Representatives of the Order Primary Fleet,
I am Captain Kocsis of the Coalition Research Group "Kikimora", Commanding Officer of the CPR Larionov.
It appears that our leadership decided to cut all the ties to the Order who has been an ally of the Coalition for several decades now; such a decision outraged me and my crew who cannot be called particularly ideologically suitable people to the current course of the Coalition under Premier Petrov, his government and aligned nomenclature. Hereby, me and my crew are asking for permission to join the Order and include our effort to yours.
Your desire to defect has been acknowledged. While Coalition warships can no longer be guaranteed safe access to the heartland of Order space for obvious reasons, you and your crew are hereby invited to disembark on Dabadoru station. Prepare for a mandatory scan for Nomad tissue as well as some bureaucracy. Station’s commander had been informed about your intent. Your enlistment to The Order is practically guaranteed under condition that you will progress towards ensuring humanity’s continuity rather than Coalition’s political desires. We are after all an a-political force. However I think that you are far better informed than most on how we operate so I believe you understand terms and conditions. I believe we will talk again soon.

Grand Admiral Golanski,,
I prefer to not label my departure as a defection, as I was never fully a member of the military. I was an armed scientist. However, let's not focus on these details and take no offense at your choice of words.
The Larionov is actually not a vessel designed by the Coalition, as you will soon see when we arrive at the station. We are currently on course and should arrive in a few days, unless any unforeseen issues arise.
