Howdy neighbors,
I'm one of a number of researchers from Ikarus Station in Tau-23. I've had the occasion to visit Baffin once or twice. I'm not too humble to admit your faith is pretty baffling (heh) to me, but I know some of the other Zoners here on the station that are Discordian adjacent, so I can honestly say I'm interested in learnin' the why behind all the "Eris" this and that I hear tossed around. I'm especially interested in getting a look at the planetary body you've named "Goddess Geode", so takin' a trip down there from the Shasta elevator would be a fantastic chance to investigate some claims I've heard about it. In good faith, I promise!
That leads me to a particular request. While I can appreciate a guided tour, I'm eager to go beyond the surface into particularly deep sections of the Geode - and with your permission, I'd be thankful for the opportunity to bring along some scanning, survey and medical equipment to take some readings while I'm down there, as well as some relay nodes to daisy-chain back up to the surface in order to stay connected with my ship's computer.
It's no immediate request, keep in mind... I'm a little too laid up at the moment to go on a hike. My ship isn't exactly doing so well either. Still, I want to make sure I put this request forward respectfully for future interest. If any of this is disagreeable to ya, let me know and we can discuss.
Wow, you sure are a humble one. Not only admitting that you are baffled by our faith in the Goddess but even willing to shove mechanical instruments down a shaft on Shasta! Your request to inspect the Goddess Geode is denied, burnt, split into 5 separate pieces and archived in similar fashion as all matters concerning Greyface. In our view your approach is just plain wrong. You never shove anything down a holy one without prior consent. Especially a holey one.
No further discussion regarding this, please take another hike yet you are welcome to stop by the gift shop for some Pineal Amulets.
