One of the most prominent leaders of Liberty Navy's Insurgency campaign, First Armada Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer has ordered another bold and risky maneuver today. Rather than staying in the safety of the Ohio Battlegroup, he has ordered a powerful yet agile Liberty Navy task force to sneak behind Insurgency's flank, gather on the dark side of Iridescencia and attempt a pincer maneuver.

A tactical setback turned into victory
The plan has not worked Initially. Somehow the insurgents have gathered intelligence about the assault, and dispatched an entire battlegroup of Arbiter Class Dreadnoughts with mostly Battlecruiser support.

Heavily Outgunned, the First Armada vessels 1st|LNS-Bateley, 1st|LNS-OverLord,1st|LNS-Barbara.Jacobi, 1st|LNS-Argounate,1st|LNS-Discovery, 1st|LNS-Freedom,1st|LNS-Interdictor, 1st|LNS-Praetorian and 1st|LNS-Mount.Massive, aided by heroic 46th Fleet's 46th|LNX-Akhetaten, First Fleet's [LN]-LNS-Savannah and LNS-Nebraska had to engage in advanced tactics and superb coordination to turn the tides of the battle.

And they did just that - the Insurgency flank was broken through, and the pincer maneuver worked despite the initial intelligence setback.

The Insurgency is now completely surrounded with nowhere to run. It is just a question of time before the last remaining defenders will face a choice to either surrender or make their last desperate all-in stand at Veracruz.
