A Community Event

Description

Baffin has long had a strange niche local industry involving the small proto-nomad "Scrubbies" discovered in the Devon Ice Cloud. These self-contained "terraforming machines" have been in higher demand lately, putting some strain on existing shipping resources for their deliveries to Kusari space. After discussions between TAZ and Mineore organizations, Billy Mineore Jr. is asking for help with this extreme need and offering prizes as bonuses for a job well done to the top 3 participants.

Event start

This event will start after Server restart Saturday May 13.

Participants:

This event is available to any faction with reputation friendly enough to enable them to dock at Samura's facilities on Tsushima Depot in Kyushu.
Always check Local House Laws prior to departure!

Primary Objective:

Pickup Alien Organisms from Baffin, either from local bases or by a harvesting vessel near G/H5 coordinates and deliver them to the Tsushima Depot in Kyushu. The base in Kyushu purchases them for 4653 SC / unit for this short run.
As deliveries are made, visual evidence of deliveries (//screenshots) showing DELIVERY LOCATION AND CARGO will need to be provided by:
- via this event post reply, in SHORT FORM with simple text/RP, still with screenshot for proof. (In effort to encourage maximum participation, even if you don't like to forum RP).

Event completion

This event is a race to deliver the most amounts of product to the sellpoint.
Last reports must be posted prior to event completion on Monday, May 15 at Server restart.

Incentives

In addition to any payments made at the bases themselves at time of delivery, each unit of cargo reported delivered will be recorded to be eligible for these prize payments:
- 250,000,000 SC for 1st place - highest amount of commodity shipped,
- 100,000,000 SC for 2nd place - for amount of commodity shipped,
- and 50,000,000 SC for 3rd place - for amount of commodity shipped.
All Prize Payments made directly to the ship or account specified by the reporting player.
