Thank you for this opportunity sir. I have had a little mishap recently and don't even have my fighter. At least I had something to do on transport duty. Maybe one day I will be as successful as your own Admiral Jones was!

Cadet Jones,
Although the corps you are flying for is managed by a discharged, prosecuted Admiral, the help regarding the supplying of Long Island Station is much appreciated.
Such abnegation, and sense of duty, is in direct line with Admiral Jones's aspirations for the Libertarian forces, and there is no doubt that you might be a great asset to the House, should you have the proper training and models.
Godspeed, Cadet. And remember: duty is one thing that cannot be accomplished by a dead man. Avoid the shots, and stay alive.

Hoorah!
Not going to lie, West Point simulations made life in the Navy seem much easier. That ancient history is a little above my pay grade - all I've heard is that the only evidence ever presented was our Admiral following his then CO Dylan Brandt's orders to the letter in some godforsaken Insurgency hellhole outside of House space, and the discharge never stuck.
I guess we all follow different leaders - it seems like the First Armada likes to be in the heat of things. After getting my ass kicked for so long flying under its protocols, it was actually nice to have a quiet hauling duty in the backlines for your station today. An asset has to not just get shot down and even hacked around the clock you know. Perhaps one day, perhaps one day indeed I will be like the other Jones. Perhaps I should fly with him if he will ever return.

Cadet Jones,
I do not doubt your sincerity, Cadet. What you have "heard", though, does not matter. What matters are facts. Blake Van Leer was dishonorably discharged by the 46th Fleet Admiralty, and was denied his transfer to the secondary fleets. More than that, he then proceeded to broke the laws he swore to uphold.
You may claim that it is above your paygrade, and I am willing to understand that you do not want to discuss orders. But should you want to become half of what Admiral Jones is, you will need to take responsibility for your actions, and think about who you pledge your allegiance to: the Republic of Liberty, or an illegitimate leader? No matter what your answer may be when the time comes, I hope you can live with the consequences.
Safe skies, Cadet. Maybe you will be more reasonable than Mr Van Leer.
Until next time.

I mean, I am sure if there was any enforceable relevant evidence against our admiral besides following orders of his High Congress and President Commissioned CO Dylan Brandt outside of House space it would come to the surface by now and our Admiral wouldn't be both at the forefront of Liberty Navy's activities and a free man wouldn't you say? He is not exactly hard to find!
But it is not on our generation and me to think of irrelevant-year-old squabbles of those high-ups - the present is here, we are all of the Liberty Navy, and I will try to keep doing my best to one day stop getting my ass kicked! Hoorah!
