*Accepting the transmission, a video recording starts playing automatically. Goeben wears a blood-stained lab robe and long medical gloves. He seems gloomy and tired*
Greetings, Nicole...
Thought I'd give you a quick report on the Erie situation, since you are not on home turf anymore. Long story short...it was massacre. All battles are massacres, but this one was...vivid, at least to my standards. My colleagues and I tried to save as many combatants and civilians as possible, but... *He bites his lip, followed by a heavy sigh* ...as usual, not all could be saved. Far from all.
MedForce did its duty until the situation was not bearable anymore. It was made clear that we were humanitarian vessels, taking care of friends AND foes, but...*he shrugs, followed by a long pause*...not everyone got lucky, unlike me again.
After handing over the seventh, and last, group of triage candidates, critical care patients and uncritical wounded to spaceport Gamma 5 on Erie, as well as doing the same for rescued Navy staff on Harrisburg Station, I hurried to the next available jumphole and got out of there. Just me and my droids. The battle was still going strong, so I unfortunately do not know the definite outcome. Guess we have to wait for the news to cover that...if there are any news where we'll meet.
*Another pause follows, then the doctor shows a faint smile*
By the way, Tuxy is alive and kickin', but still upset. Guess cats get used to space slowly. Or slaughter...*Hans chuckles bitterly, followed by a feeble "meow" in the background, off-screen*
With that, I bid you farewell for now. Until we see again.

Oh god, you brought Tuxy to the battle. Couldn't you have left him on Bethlehem? A warzone's no place for a cat, Jesus Christ.
I'm glad to hear he's okay, at least, and that you are too. The news reports are conflicting at the moment, some say that Liberty won and some say that the Zoners won. But all of them agree that the ground forces made it through and that Erie is now occupied by Liberty. This is exactly what I expected to happen, unfortunately, and it means that it's time to move on to phase two. Expect an imminent broadcast.
Hang in there. Don't beat yourself up about people you couldn't save.
