I bid you a good evening, if a late one at that, but nevertheless a good one. I am writing a short message to you now as I prepare to board my warship towards the Taus in hopes that, with the blessing of our so-honored Emperor, we may restart talks regarding the Taus and the opening of Gallia towards Kusari, in a step-by-step plan that will culminate in our two Great Houses standing tall above the degenerate Bretonia and the decadent Liberty. I will be representing the most esteemed Kusari Government in this affair and, as such, I expect that a man similar to my talents be offered to represent the Union, such that our combined will and mutual interests may overcome any difficulties.
